I thought I would start a separate thread to discuss the court case which started today. I for one am still baffled as to why Harry thinks that his treatment has been unreasonable, given that he no longer lives in the UK, but is still given security on a case by case basis when he visits. This seems perfectly reasonable to me 🤷‍♀️

So, Harry was well protected, even though he was in the UK?

The internet super sleuths seem to have identified that she is a SS member and friend of Peace Adetoro. Harry has been with her in close proximity and had his photo taken with her many times so Harry was being a drama queen and was being completely disingenuous if the internet is correct.

Bit more believable had he not publicly compared killing to a video game in 2013 then inexplicably compounded it by adding his body count in the fastest selling non-fiction book of all time (how that must grate with the author of the second-fastest selling tome).

all these court cases must be costing the taxpayers a fortune! He doesn’t care about us he is only concerned with his status. It’s important for H&M to maintain their status as that helps with their commercial endeavours.

Not going to mention fallout from his charity row - maybe that is another case of him being treated in an inferior way.

I lean towards it being a domestic issue on the home front and that very simply M is using it as a reason for the children not to visit the UK or their family. It is pretty unreasonable because if they go and stay with G.Dad on one of the estates, security is already in place.

If Harry wants to be relevant as a working family member again, then he needs to make an appointment with Dad and palace advisors and quietly make a plan to return in whatever capacity they organise. However I don’t see this happening while he remains married. Too much water under THAT bridge.

He gets Police security for work and royal events, just not for his own social time ie parties with friends.

Looks like she is showing up in plenty of random places, however showing up in the court and calling out to him is definitely stalking, if he is that worried about his security, he should be filing a restraining order against her this minute.

Some poor reporting. Radio news bulletin just now talked of the 'decision to strip [Harry] of his police protection' which is really misleading.

I do think "the press" have cottoned on a bit more to the SS. I do think it is justifiable journalism to delve into this given H&M's high profile comments about online bullying etc.

No, quite different to them.
Harry gets high level protection on an individual needs assessment. He always gets full taxpayers' funded security, just not at the same level as the King and the Prince of Wales.
Princess Anne gets security when on official royal duties.
Zara, Beatrice, Eugenie - no entitlement at all to taxpayer funded security.

I've just realised what all H's bollocks is about regarding the whole [paraphrasing] 'the British public's morale will suffer if anything happens to me' laughable malarkey.

It's to set up the 'overwhelming public interest' ground for appeal, all the way to the Supreme Court. So, so duplicitous.

I agree. If he was granted the same level of protection as his father and brother ( which won’t happen), I wonder what excuse M would use then not to visit the UK and his family. She just doesn’t want under any circumstances to do that .
