It’s so weird the way Meghan and Harry were doing it during their Royal engagements.

On royal engagements the custom always is that if there's more than one royal present, they split up and go and talk to different people, so they meet as many people as possible. H&M were shortchanging the people who had come to see them. And it does look ridiculous for a couple their age to be permanently glued together like a pair of teenagers.

StrawberryWasp · 06/04/2025 14:40

How do we know M suggested her and C hold hands at Wimbledon?

Is it a cultural difference? Do adult US women hold hands more frequently than UK women?

No, in my many years of experience across four states in different parts of the US, adult women in the US do not hold hands unless they are dating each other. We also don't hug strangers. I can't remember the last time I hugged a family member, let alone a complete stranger, and I'm from a close family.

It’s a mean girl thing? Look at us, we’re so close. The rest of you plebs wouldn’t understand.

It's to exclude others as well.

I have just seen this thread on X. If you look on the other threads from this user, they have obviously done a deep dive into the Sussex Sqaud and specifically Sarah Data.
Truly shocking but I’m glad that people are at least learning about and finally acknowledging how toxic the Sussex Squad are. There is absolutely no equivalent on “the other side” as people often try and argue. This is coordinated and organised, and people need arresting.

That's just good manners . It is also good manners for couples not to be seated together at dinner. Meghan made a huge fuss that she wasn't seated with Harry early on in their relationship. She just has no class.

It’s a thread about one of the leaders of the SS. It also indicates that some members have been paid.

MummyJ12 · 06/04/2025 18:15

It definitely feels like there has been a seismic shift and all of this is coming out now.

Should add that not only did H & M look silly and soppy holding hands at the Queen's funeral but if you look at the photos/videos it actually ruined the line for the procession. They are a pair of idiots.

Totally this. It was a sombre state occasion. If Harry needed consolation, there would have been plenty of private moments later in the day. Imagine if Princess Anne had held her husband's hand at the funeral? And I'm sure she was grieving deeply, but she knows how to behave in public.

I posted this once way back in the early days before Megxit and dear god was the outrage from the SS was strong. Even sackcloth and ashes were too good for me for daring to question the special ones professionalism or the all encompassing depth of their once in a lifetime love.

Hi @JSMill, yes I did see that thanks so much. There are certainly direct links between the Sussexes and their crazy Squaddies. It’s becoming more and more undeniable. So much for their anti bullying rhetoric. Absolute hypocrites.

Also, given that Meghan attended Wimbledon on her own and insisted on clearing people away from where she was sitting, I don’t think her wanting to hold hands at the tournament “to spread warmth” was very genuine 🤪

I don't find anything about Meghan "very genuine".

I think she struggles to make social chit-chat, or show an interest in anyone else, so must be a disaster as a dinner party guest unless glued to Harry!

Absolutely, there is a video online of Meghan and Delphina holding hands walking past Sophie and they ignore her, Sophie turns round as if to try to catch Meghan’s attention but she is ignored.

I too was handed my arse on a plate a couple of years ago when i dared to say these two had serious issues and i worried about the effect the pair of them would have on their children and that i could just imagine the book the children would maybe one day write.

Profhilodisaster · 06/04/2025 21:09

If they are being paid, where is the money coming from?

FFS, the handholding.

Apparently Meghan suggested that she and Catherine should hold hands at Wimbledon. WTAF? Why does she behave in this way? It's desperately odd.

If you look at the footage of The Fab Four coming on-stage for that inverview, when Catherine was pregnant with Louis. As she clears the cutain, Catherine is cartwheeling her right arm to get clear of M trying to claw onto it.

Wish I had the skills to find the footage and post it...

It was such a crazy board at the time. I was glad a couple of the posters didn't know where I live because I think they might have come and burnt my house down in retaliation for my traitorous post.

Is that supposed to say ‘Archpriestess’? and who the heck is the holder of that esteemed title?😳
Absolute batshittery 😂

@Profhilodisaster That's not real , surely? Or it doesn't mean what it looks like it does ?

I can take a wild guess, they clearly feel emboldened and untouchable to put that out in the public domain.

MissRoseDurward · 06/04/2025 22:21

I can take a wild guess

The 'Arche' is suggestive.
