What is this ongoing and desperate obsession with Harry’s every move? It’s really odd.

Fair enough but I’m definitely not a fan and not everyone who says things like I do is. In recent years I have spent a few hours reading spare, watched the Netflix programme they did and have probably seen a few hours of other interviews, footage, news articles of him, which I’ve had various opinions on from ‘good on him’ to ‘what a twat’. I think those things about most people though. I do think some people have taken a dislike to him and now anything he does is automatically bad.

Perhaps they have. I can't speak for them. I would say it's understandable.

Prince Harry says Spare will be written "not as the prince I was born but as the man I have become".

Well, he showed us he is a rude, entitled, disrespectful and petty man child and everything we have seen on Oprah, Netflix etc has just backed that up.

100 %

What’s this ongoing and desperate obsession with knowing why people are discussing the actions of celebrity?
it’s really odd.

Some strange misuse of words tonight. Snippets, hate, obsession.
None of which seem at all appropriate to the thread or it's contents.
Still. Each to their own.

IAmATorturedPoet · 29/03/2025 17:50

@DelectableMe ‘hate’? obsession’?
Some people are all about the drama

"How many times have we been shocked to find out that yet another celeb who seemed nice wasn't actually nice at all?"

SO are you saying Harry is showing a whiny, petulant and immature dick persona when really he is lovely? 😂

glitterturd · 29/03/2025 18:50

As an aside what's with the increasing numbers of Harry supporters who don't use punctuation run all sentences together he's luvving life

I’m saying that we can’t accurately judge someone for what is known about them publicly and that people will have different opinions on things he has done.

TheBackupPlan · 29/03/2025 19:12

*can’t always

True. However, if someone writes a book about themselves, does a Netflix series about themselves, plus many interviews about themselves, I'm going to say that we get a pretty clear picture.

Missey85 · 29/03/2025 19:31

Figuring out who to blame next? Practicing his tears and sad face 😆😆

Don't forget the Gabore Mate interview. A Harry therapy session that you could pay to listen to. If Harry wasn't being completely open and honest about his life in those interviews but providing mere "snippets", what exactly were they asking everyone to pay for? And do those people feel like gullible fools now?

I didn't listen to that, I'm sure that Harry's personal therapy session gave a deep insight into his psyche. He certainly likes to share.
Was it enlightening?

Surely it is normal though to want to promote a good image?
Why would you promote a negative image of yourself when you are trying to raise funds for charities and try to get work and sponsorships. The answer is " you don't"

I think that was the interview where people paid to hear a potted history of his drug taking.

No. Only that because Gabor Mate spoke out later to say that he regretted in and had been hoodwinked to do it as it was a podcast that listeners had to buy Spare to listen to. Commericially merky as an advocate of MH ... but only when you are paying PH for it its seems.

So he was taking about his mental health problems?

I didn't pay to listen to it, I'm not stupid like that.

Yes that's right. I think Mate wanted it to be free for all to listen/watch. But they had already sold it to punters based on them buying Spare. So they would end up in potential breach of contract if they made it free to anyone.

glitterturd · 29/03/2025 20:05

Well I don't think Harry is going to have much time for jigsaws now !
