Next on my feed was the Royal family account where the Duchess of Edinburgh is showing to European government officials about legislation to protect children from online abuse and grooming.

I know I've made this point before but I can't help feeling that if only she had stuck it out for a few years the press would have calmed down, she would have been more at home with the ways things were done here and she would have had a platform from which to speak about issues. Of course I'm assuming here that Harry would have grown up which is probably not likely but such an opportunity lost for them.

I don't know, I think there is an alternate timeline where Harry prepared her properly and then she listened to advice and was able to really contribute in areas she was interested in. Valentine Low's book was a fascinating read on this. She didn't know what to expect, came in with fixed ideas and the palace didn't know how to respond and help her. Harry bleating what Meghan wants Meghan gets at every opportunity was completely unhelpful too.

I wasn't sure if they were cakes or cookies. I went with cakes because of the icing. I'm not a fan of buttercream icing, I prefer old fashioned fairy cakes with simple icing, buttercream is too sweet for me.

I agree that the cupcakes are still in the muffin pans (in their paper cases). I’m curious as to why you’d ice them in the pans though. Makes it far more difficult to take them out without damaging the icing!

Yes. GP has been very mischievous, taking the piss out of MM, clearly . I think maybe she’s been told to rein it in, hence the skit, however GP still comes out looking best. And while we are at it , why does MM have her bare foot on the kitchen table? I would r be impressed if any of my friends did this at my house.
