Commissionable links- means when a potential customer clicks on the link, it's attributed to the affiliate, allowing the brand to record the source of the traffic. If someone buys a product using an affiliate link, the brand will pay the affiliate marketer commission on the sale

But she’s not an influencer?

This is really sad actually.

For all I detest MM I dont think she can be criticised for taking a role in a film where she has to simulate oral sex when he job was literally to be an actress acting a part.

Sorry but I disagree . I have an actress in my family who spent several years trudging around the country doing theatre shows and an occasional bit part on TV . Being very attractive she was frequently offered roles which required nudity etc but she always refused as she wanted to be an actress and not just famous.
Currently in a TV series !

Of course you can’t say …. But obviously myself and others would be stretching the truth to say we aren’t dying of curiosity! 🤣

Sorry I had to come back to this comment because I missed the first line!

now I’m far from being a fan of Meghan, after all I consider her a liar and a bully!
but … detest? That seems a bit strong! And dare I say it a tad overblown, dislike of someone’s behaviour isn’t necessarily dislike of the person themselves.

Yes you can be criticised.. You can choose the parts. You don't have to be the totty or the eye candy, you don't have to get down to your pants or dust in a basque and you certainly don't need to take a role where you simulate a sex act.
Many actresses wait on tables and work in bars rather than do those sorts of jobs.

No, I don't detest her or "hate on" her🙄.
I criticise her words and actions. Very different.

Hate 'on' is very American 14 year old. I thought the expression was a bit 2017 however.

Yes, teenagers use it, and I think it's on tiktok.

Indeed @EmpressOfTheThread! It’s sadly posts like this that makes the rest of us who just criticise actions look bad!
and it seems a bit disingenuous.

It was her choice. She's done suitcase girl with implants and skimpy dresses. She did hot girl on plane. She did bbq girl sucking on a sausage or was it a burger? She did sexy French maid She simulated oral sex. She did sexy lawyer and even Harry has admitted he hated looking at that. It was her choice and she hadn't been the first actress to do that but it was her choice.

Nothing gives quite as much pleasure as seeing the way someone can be married in a royal castle and reduced to pleading for people to buy some clothes.
How the mighty have fallen.

I would be genuinely very interested to see the figures behind this.

Waitrose has done a deal with the Duchy Brand and the official line is that profits go to charity but is that all of the profits?

✉️

I think @Serenster posted the figures earlier in this thread.

I thought it might be a good idea for some US economic reality to come through. California is one of the states mentioned in the article.

Lampzade · 26/03/2025 04:54

When she wears an outfit it usually sells out, which is why people are prepared to pay her to advertise their clothing .
Anything to do with Meghan sells , it really is as simple as that.
The word ‘flog’ is just an emotive word used to rile up the many dedicated anti Meghan posters whose full time job is to sit on the Royal threads and lambast a woman who is trying to make a living. I am not talking about the posters who make the occasional negative comment. I am talking about those who constantly start and/or contribute to these threads .
Haven’t these posters got anything else to do with their lives ?
Anything to do with Meghan sells . She has her own daily dedicated threads on MN ffs
The attempt to destroy her by some is obviously not working . She is becoming more successful and richer by the day .
Get out of the house and get some fresh ffs
Take a leaf out of Meghan’s book and get busy.

I really don't know why. I wouldn't be seen dead in most of what she wears.

The proof will be in the pudding to see whether "anything to do with Meghan sells". I wonder where the market for $1000 bland dresses is.

What about the dedicated pro-Meghan posters who spend their time combing threads that they know are likely to contain criticism of her (criticism which by the way she sets up through her own actions) only to make negative personal comments lambasting other posters? Do they also need to get some "fresh ffs"[sic]?

EmpressOfTheThread · 26/03/2025 07:32

Also, I always find hating on a strange phrase. I wonder why the "on" is added?

It's grammatically incorrect.

It's an interesting concept really. Was I "hating on" Shakespeare when I critically analysed his work in years gone by?

mainecooncatonahottinroof · 26/03/2025 15:28

Extiainoiapeial · 26/03/2025 07:25

Says the poster who has posted on this thread countless times to the poster @Lampzade who has posted once 😅😂
That's really quite funny
There are more posters out there who think enough is enough with hating on Meghan
She's doing well despite the endless criticism, I'm pleased for her
I hope the clothes enterprise works for her.

How is she "doing well"? What has she actually accomplished at this stage?

So THATS why they had the “Tell me where you go your clothes from” segment on her Netflix show
