Commissionable links- means when a potential customer clicks on the link, it's attributed to the affiliate, allowing the brand to record the source of the traffic. If someone buys a product using an affiliate link, the brand will pay the affiliate marketer commission on the sale

But she’s not an influencer?

This is really sad actually.

Well there were reports earlier that the "ethical" handbag made in Rwanda retails for £712 on her site but the Rwandan women who make them get 10p per hour.

😧

The profits from the Duchy brand goes to charity and research into organic farming though

Of course it does 😂and Kate pays for her designer dresses from her full time job at Tescos.

It's embarrassing enough to be a serf, but to ignore the money making scandals of the royals and focus only on the one brown one is a bit of a joke.

Yes - I’ve seen this mentioned quite a few times. Charles set up Duchy Originals to market the produce from his organic farm and all the profits went to charity. It started making losses following the global financial crisis, and Waitrose brought the brand, and market it today. I don’t know if all the profits go the charity now, but certainly m still do.

Charles has never marketed the range under his own name or title (the connection was obviously clear though) and has never personally profited from its sales.

The Waitrose website confirms £45m has been paid to charity since 2009 from the brand:

See this is how an adult conversation/debate works. If a new thread were started for every aspect of a conversation it would make for a very boring discussion ...

When Meghan was a working royal, her bespoke couture wardrobe of Givenchy, Dior, Stella McCartney etc was paid for by Charles.
Not her job at Tesco.

Referring to "the brown one" is a joke!!

Why would a future Queen be working in Tesco?

Preposterous!

Exactly my point. They're all at it. So why focus only on megans money making schemes?

Well, to be fair there have been some interesting threads on similar topics. Quite a good one on the role of the head of state. Others on the RF generally. Some good points made. This thread is about Meghan's latest efforts, so that's what people are discussing.

No you're quite right. Eye rolling is definitely part of being able to respond to a point that has challenged/confused you. Good night and do keep up the good work !

I'll wait until you actually make a point.

I see the new PR has no new tricks.

Racism
Whataboutism
Duchies that H can't ever inherit
Gratuitous attacks on Catherine
Haters
Bullying
Serfs/Forelock tuggers
Outright lies

Rinse and repeat ad nauseum!

What's interesting is all these posters who have no interest in MM's business, no interest in the royals and can't have seen this thread in trending, because it hasn't been. And yet somehow they stumbled onto the obscure royal family board. And decided to click on a thread about someone and something they aren't that interested in; but simultaneously all have lots to say, all being very sure she is the most bullied woman in the world and has a wonderful business and life, and all being ready with similar sounding personal insults against regular posters. And all coincidentally finding this obscure thread on the same day MM launches a new angle to her business. What an amazing coincidence!
