Commissionable links- means when a potential customer clicks on the link, it's attributed to the affiliate, allowing the brand to record the source of the traffic. If someone buys a product using an affiliate link, the brand will pay the affiliate marketer commission on the sale

But she’s not an influencer?

This is really sad actually.

There is one more thing they could do which would fill the coffers. A reality show. No holds barred access to their lives, the children, Doria. Literally selling themselves. If they get desperate enough they’ll do it.

BigWillyLittleTodger · 25/03/2025 07:28

Hasn’t it just, where do they get these ever increasing fantasy figures from.

Yes, I'd read it as £2m. A wealthy woman, but not Montecito mansion wealthy.

They would but they’d never call it a reality tv show…..it would be an ‘authentic view of our family, through the lens of community building and sharing…show’

So, Supporters, what is your view on Meghan featuring Archie and Lilibet on her selling page?

Well my comment in support of MM got deleted, which I think is astounding.

I personally would not do that, but lots of celebrities do, so I don’t think she deserves the venomous commentary she receives.

I also don’t think she has to be perfect.
And lastly, I do think that (for some posters) everything she does is viewed through a lens of “how can we pitch this as showing up some defect in her character”.
Given that she can’t win, she can’t draw even, and she can’t even quit the game, why shouldn’t she just please herself?

MrsFinkelstein · 25/03/2025 07:39

RevolutionaryMode · 25/03/2025 02:41

No. But why is that relevant? Why are people still comparing Catherine to Meghan and vice versa. They are now in separate countries doing separate things. Meghan would not have gotten commission either if she stayed a working royal.

(I just remembered that Andrew got a 2% commission on Pitch @ Palace - when he was still a working royal? I think it was ClaireorClare who bought that to my attention on here.)

This is what Meghan did before. She capitalized on her acting role in Suits and made something more from it, and according to some newspaper reports, she had about $7million when she married into the RF. She’s now capitalizing on her show. Let her get on with it.

When she met Harry she was living in rented accommodation, didn't own any property and didn't own a car. She had a blog that had 14k subscribers and had been the face of Reitmanns (though she's lost that deal).

She wasn't worth 7m. She wasn't poor, but she certainly wasn't a millionaire.

It's weird how the people who chastise everyone on threads about the woman all, without fail, use the word 'hate'. Not gossip/bitching/slagging off etc. always hate.
They never paste in any examples of the hate that's upsetting them so much, which would help others to understand.
Is merely discussing a minor celebrity 'hate'? Confused

A minor celebrity? She’s regularly on the front pages of national newspapers despite her and he husband having left the UK years ago. She regularly gets comments running into the 100s on this website, and across social media. I wouldn’t call that minor. It’s ironic how so many in the UK are utterly obsessed with her while simultaneously try to deride her as a minor celebrity or not newsworthy.

GuevarasBeret · 25/03/2025 07:43

Look at so many posters here -all can’t stand the woman, but simultaneously watching the show (so they know fully how crap she is); trawling through her websites (so they fully know how crap she is); screenshotting her Instagram for “receipts”, suddenly experts of children’s couture clothing (so they can comment of the flower girl dresses).
Generally, if you hate someone, you don’t obsess over irrelevant details of their lives.

She's not a victim. She's an adult woman making choices. She courted publicity by being controversial, and she wants to remain in the headlines. That's clearly of importance to her.
So, people will comment.

I haven’t done any of things. My opinion of her (and Harry) is based solely on the fact they are both liars and fantasists.

Is she though? She hasn't been on the front page of any newspapers in the UK for weeks, if not months. They do appear in the online versions, but even then they've been further down the page.

She does get front page in magazines, but recently only US ones. People most received then Vanity Fair. But quite different reasons for those.

Not that you made a joke.

I did make a joke, but as a very serious person- you didn’t find the joke funny and went on to publicly chastise my post! The horror!

You even refer to the ‘joke’ not being funny. So please, sort out your argument in your head first.

everyone in life has goals and aspirations, some people want to be self made- why does it bother you? And anyone came make anything sound rubbish- the word flogging is a bit mean isn’t it? Why do so many people hate a person they don’t know?!

But telling people where you found your clothes for commission is not self-making. People expected a bit more from Meghan.

@GuevarasBeretYour post was likely deleted because of the unfounded accusation of racism you made in it, not because it was supportive of MM.

MSN.

Meghan was said to be worth around $5 million before she ever joined the royal family. Sure, that might be a fraction of what she and Harry are worth now, but it's certainly not chump change.

That was reported a long time ago.

$2 mill figure came from what she earned from
Suits but she had other roles, and endorsements.

SallyWD · 25/03/2025 07:55

And so what if they do do that? William and Kate regularly parade their kids in front of the world’s media as part of the trade off for their lavish lifestyles.

H&M have said that they don’t like being an every day part of the Royal Family and having to parade their kids about on others terms. They never said they dislike money.

Well she’s deemed the 5th most important news item in the world by today’s Mail Online, the UK’s most read online newspaper. Her new advert is deemed “breaking news”.

@AtIusvue, I don’t need to sort out anything in my head and only referred to your post using the term ‘joke’ in reply to you after claimed your post was a joke.

Am I a serious person? No. I enjoy a good laugh and a good joke but I draw the line at laughing at the suggestion any woman would, or should, turn to the online equivalent of prostitution to make a living.

and as for anything else you’ve said in your last reply - I think you do know you went too far and that you are embarrassed your post was commented on which is why you’re defending yourself with 12 laughs. If you were really convinced you hadn’t gone too far - you wouldn’t need 12 laughs to back you up.

Im saying no more on the matter but you can rabbit on you like. My stance is very clear.

AtIusvue · 25/03/2025 08:08

I’m pretty sure I read it brought her in $100,000 a year. It wasn’t much but she was trying to get a cooking show happening etc. The Tig was just advertisement for her…not a major money maker
