What, when they were kids?! I thought the flying to a hotel thing was adults and last week!

If you read some of the girls instagram I clearly stated that each of them met Meghan in real life! , some more than once and one details Meghan turning up to congratulate her !

What?! What on earth were her and Markus Anderson doing?!

I did read your posts but I'm not on SM (apart from MN) and I thought you meant they met her last week. Mind blown. No, that was not a standard way of going about it then. Really shocked.

The hotel thing is different, only four was the girls from earlier, after Meghan married Harry she stopped contact with them , only now has she rekindled the relationship, they were even encouraged to get as ever tattoos!!

As a parent, I am appalled by this. I have a teenage dd and as @jeffgoldblum said I would go mental. Then on top of that, she and H preach on about online safety! Bloody hell.

It was stick on transfers NF provided and it was her writing

I was the same. Thought surely not. But all the information is heartbreakingly given out by the girls themselves. Thinking they are sharing stories of how awesome Meg is…..yet we can all see it for what it is.

Right, I see. Although, did JKR carry out this correspondence with some safeguarding in place? And a bit of a different dynamic, I suppose. One an author of children's literature that speaks to disenfranchised young people; the other playing a fuck-me-against-the-filing- cabinet sex object, keeping lists of young girls with a man who runs a decidedly adult party/sex establishment.

Markus Anderson's boss at the soho house in Toronto was also an apparent frequent flyer on Epsteins plane.

WTH is Markus Anderson doing in all this? I know he's a long time pal of M's but no way should he have anything to do with her interaction with teenage fans. If she was facilitating contact/giving him their personal info, it's seriously dodgy.

Nothing will come of it here…..but it sounds like something that a podcaster in the US could pick up on.

I know about JKR corresponding with a young fan but that came out of a concern for her welfare. I listened to the JKR podcast and she was very aware that many HP fans were vulnerable young people and she felt protective of them. It's a very different situation to a minor celebrity encouraging young girls to worship her.

Ironically it was a deep dive with screenshots by an American on sm that discovered this to start with , we can but hope @AtIusvue but it seems these two are Teflon at present!

As weird as her approach was, I doubt she meant the girls any harm back then but flying them to meet her (10 years ago) no longer sounds like basic PR and sounds much more like a massive ego trip, giving her an adoring audience for her 'famous actress' shtick.

exactly and even people who don't like him have enjoyed the series because Clarkson knows how to laugh at himself. He doesn't shy away from being given a bollocking by his young colleague whenever he makes a stupid mistake ( and there are plenty of them). It is a quality that is v endearing and makes us relate to him which is vital .

Investigative journalism doesn’t seem to exist in the modern age anymore, years ago we would have actual programs with famous journalists such as Donal MacIntyre Investigates, now things are only as deep as Drew Barrymore interviews in the mainstream media, no wonder people are turning away from it and go to YouTube podcasters instead.
