I had read rumours that he was having an affair with a surfing instructor. Now when you google "Harry Surfing Instructor" you get this story instead.

Bless your heart. I can't stand Harry or Meghan but I cant begrudge you your faithful devotion to them. Most days you show up to defend them, it is quite admirable in a way.

Is there anything at all you would criticise them for?

And privacy to me would be not sharing financial info to anyone. I share the stuff I do such as holidays and hobbies e.g. cycling with friends and family as they like seeing what I'm up to especially as alot of my friends live abroad so it's a quick way to keep up with what we are all doing wheh we don't have time for a call.

So 💁‍♀️ everyone had there own version of privacy and other people don't get to dictate that that should be. It's personal.

Faithful devotion? Why because I choose not to bitch (oh sorry it's called 'criticising' on here) about two people I don't know? That's not who I am as a person.

Nobody would be taking piss on those grounds if the video wasn't out there. If someone attempts to project an image, and the image fails, they'll get mocked proportionate to the level of delusion involved and the level of incongruity berween the image striven for and the image attained. And the dissonance here is massive.

Because every time I see the title I start wondering how popular a book called Where's Harry would be.

Then I start planning it, lots of photos of crowds with Harry (with or without stripy bobble hat) hidden in the midst.

Then I think about which charity it would be most appropriate to send proceeds to.

Then I remember that I have more important things to think about, like where my cat is.

I did and I also got some Reddit posts about him having an affair so it's kind of reignited a rumour from a few months ago.

Some of the comments in that article are quite something. Eg “That is the best athletic accomplishment of any Royal yet.” I believe Princess Anne would disagree. This is just a flavour of royals around the world, who’ve competed in the Olympics. When someone is aiming for statesman or international-serious-figure status. Then puts out a video on an international stage that is fit only for a family WhatsApp group (and even then, only when forced to, tonprove an alibi).

Then it is reasonable to ask WTAF was he thinking? Why was it put out at all? And to analyse what we see. Which is an awkward 40-y-o in anninlznd bathtub etc...

If he was taming a big one off the coast of Portugal (without an instructor) and/or was planning a career in surfing we'd be focussing on different things.

But putting out a video demonstrating how badly you are (un)able to do something is pure Ali G.

And doesn't chime with the serious vibe he managed to hit in N Y. Is he being sabotaged? On the world stage and the Cali beaches, both of which are his chosen habitats?

Well to be fair he didn't put it out himself - on the other hand he didn't ask for it to be taken down or ensure that the video of him surfing was not published. There's one of three options as far as I can see.

The guy who published it is the surf instructor - his whole Instagram is lots of these videos of his students learning to surf - when they are little kids he is often right next to them on a second surf board holding them up as they surf. I actually started following him a couple of months ago after seeing one of his viral videos by accident. He's a fabulous teacher and a good surfer - but he's got a huge beer belly which surprises me because I'd have thought all that surfing for his job would have kept him very trim - his core strength is impressive when he surfs.

Harry took a lesson with him knowing that it was common practice for the instructor to film and publish part of the lesson so I think either

He got a great deal or free use of the wave pool and lesson in return for letting the video be shown,

He actually got paid for the promotion the video would bring to the business

or he thinks he looks quite cool so he doesn't mind the video being out there.

But I don't think he specifically asked for it to be posted.

Ahh, dear Specsy your views are sweet and true and from a genuine heart which is supported by your integrity but you are fighting a losing battle on here. Most regular posters who supported H and M have left this forum as it no longer truly reflects royal family news but a ‘let’s knock H and M board’. Note - all the posts that are started of late about the other royals gain little traction and if someone blows in with a nice thread about the Montecito Dukedom 😉 the anti Sussex regulars pile on in with rubbish as per. The fact is the worldwide press can’t get enough of the Sussex pair. A surfing world renowned instructor posts on his instagram a video of Harry and his surfing skills (who is the true sporty, warrior one who has surfed for years) and the internet catches fire and Harry goes viral again. Another tribe (surfers) praise the skills and he wins yet another fan base. Nice! Some royalists, however, have laughingly spent the last few days dragging up 20 year or whatever old pics of William in order to say, see he be a surfer too. Look at William, not H. It’s William who is the heir. 😂 Anything H does to a standard, freely whether in his downtime or on the world stage, W is bigged up afterwards with some rubbish about how great or whatever he also is. However, no one really cares about him as he has no real people skills like Harry’s nor do people hold the deep affection for him that so many people still have for the younger brother and a little boy who was made to walk behind his Mum’s coffin. H used even then by the senior royals to try and keep the optics on them in a way that would avoid further criticism of them by the papers and the public at that time. Didn’t work for KCIII though as the wave of applause that followed the speech of Diana’s brother still resonates around the world today. Charles’ reputation never truly recovered.

Certain newspapers still try hard to promote William’s left behind ass but it is so desperate that they invariably have to mention H or M in the same headline in order to draw the clicks. Otherwise peeps would just move on over it. The so called popularity of the left behind royal is limited to an ever decreasing out of touch sector of certain types whether they be some royalists and/or DM readers or those who search the weird world of hate on YouTuber channels who make money off the backs of H and M. There is zero point in arguing with these outriders for disguised hate, spite and general toxicity. As you rightly say, whatever H or M do they will be peed upon by those who immerse themselves in the twilight zone. However, H and M have a worldwide following now which is unparalleled and they are living and leading unbound (hooray for them) great lives. A trip to X or other social media sites will show how protective of them many people the world over have become. One video of M looking radiant in a red dress received millions of views. Another video of it received over 200 k likes on instagram. In one video the CEO thanks Meghan for coming and accepting his invite, she graciously replies. The press on the red carpet were respectful and she did her job. It all goes viral. The surfer instructor dude has received over 35k likes for his Harry post (still rising) in just a few days. The publicity doesn’t need to be courted by either H or M when the eyes follow them regardless.
