'High quality counsel' that's a bit of a stretch! she should have left when she originally quit, they clearly paid her to stay on at that time.

It's really lousy timing for this announcement, immediately after the employee bullying disclosures, and the spin they are trying to put on it is amusing. Likely the retention package expired at a very inconvenient time and she was not staying a minute longer as their employee.

With the kids I reckon you've got the combo of Harry's obsessive paranoia and absolute fear and refusal for them to be papped anywhere colliding with Megan's wish to merchandise the children (remember Lilibet's closet?)

I think Harry has probably fallen into line with so much that Meghan wants but is digging his heels in with regards to the kids and she doesn't know how to handle it.

Its not so much about the big events, more the small events.

For example, the charity tennis match they were at a couple of weeks ago, there were kids there. So did they take the kids along, making sure no one took photographs? Did they ever take them to any polo matches where there would have been other kids?

We don’t expect Archie and Lili to come along on all their international trips, but it would be incredibly sad if they never attended even the local ones.

To give her the benefit of the doubt, last night red carpet could have been: M had previously promised to attend friend's charity event. M & friend both know M attending gives lots more coverage for the charity.
M is having a nightmare week but doesn't want to drop out and disappoint friend. Tells friend I'll come for the media frenzy to generate the publicity but then I'm going to dip out because I'm really not up to smoozing just now I'm so low with everything going on.

It could have been an act of generosity for her friend?

Also the photos together could be planned. No one is going to publish a photo of Kelly whoever she is on her own, but they will with her and M. M is allowing friend to use her fame to get attention.

I can't stand M or H but it is still possible she does some things out of generosity for others sometimes. She's not the devil.

And she does form close female friendships which seem quite intense, it's just they don't seem to last over time.

This seems to be her current bff who she is probably love bombing and who probably thinks she's so special to M.

It's interesting when you think that (according to the rumour mill) Meghan had wanted to go into the royal box at Wimbledon hand in hand with Catherine, but the then Duchess of Cambridge was having none of it. I think she uses the handsiness as both a control and an equaliser, and that all goes for the un-solicited hugging. She's trying to put herself on the same level as her victim, and then she uses their capitulation to her handling as a means of control.
