So much for her 'freakish eye for detail'.

Seems "freakish" doesn't necessarily mean "good".

😂 Absolutely!

Yes. Suspended at least, I hear she’s back working now.

I'm glad she is back at work. The Cut Interview was brilliant and probably the most truthful bit of H&M propaganda we have seen. It would have an absolute crime to put a WOC out of work for that.

H&M should be ashamed of themselves.

Is that what was said about MM in the way of the ridiculous Catherine Mother's Day photo non event? It's led to a zillion SM sleuths pouring over every photo, video, timeline, you name it MM's ever put out. Amazing what you can do with technology these days.

Agreed. And thanks @MummyJ12 for confirming she's working again.

Her freakish eye for detail missed the price tag still hanging off her dress and never mind all the times you could see the outline of her strapless bras.

So Thomas raised Meghan. Where was Doria?

So Thomas raised Meghan. Where was Doria?

Official story is they split when she was very young, 2 I think and Doria went off to find herself, ran a yoga class and stayed in touch with Megan, who visited and stayed regularly.

unofficial story is she was doing time, and Tom bower said there was a legal restriction on saying where Doria was during those years. Which in itself says something, it is normal for criminal records to be sealed.im fairly sure there is an injunction too.

Interesting, considering people have told me that none of the royals are in a position to correct the narrative. There seems to be a memory lapse on Andrew speaking out, as to did Diana and Charles in the 90s. Charles also stated in his biography that his parents were cold and he felt unloved.
it would appear that only certain people have the right to speak about their feelings and situations.

But Charles did not denigrate his parents - many in his social strata could have said the same about their childhood 0and Diana Spencer's family was completely disfunctional - and Andrew has only given the one disastrous interview - and he did nothing illegal (39/40 year old men having sex with 17 year old girls is not illegal, and not infrequent, either - but Prince Harry admitted to illegal drug taking and endangered his family and the UK by saying he had shot 25 Taliban, treating the matter as if it was target shooting, thus showing he was not even a good soldier).
And Prince Harry lied. And he let his wife lie, too. Anyone in the UK watching the Oprah interview or reading 'Spare' would recognise the lies. Just a taste: my dad never went bike riding with me - photos of Charles and both his sons on bike rides (sometimes with Harry riding pillion with Charles) disprove this easily. Our son wasn't given a title because he is black (Meghan Markle is even less black than Kamala Harris, and one would not know their ancestry unless told); this lie Prince Harry managed to contradict by citing the Letters Patent of George V (1917) which state that only the children of the monarch and the children of the heir apparent would have the title 'prince' (EIIR made out Letters Patent to allow William's children to be styled 'prince' because a situation not envisaged by George V arose i.e. that the monarch was the great-grandparent of the heir apparent's eldest son's child). They apparently rejected the courtesy title Earl of Dumbarton for Archie because Meghan thought 'Dumb' meant stupid - which shows a lack of intelligence and due research on her part and insults the people of Dumbarton, too. That Meghan and Prince Harry were married in a garden at Windsor by the Archbishop of Canterbury 3 days before her extravaganza (which she said was just a 'show' for the public) was a lie everyone in the UK would recognise: a couple cannot be married in such a private fashion and a marriage ceremony cannot be repeated without a divorce in between - a lack of knowledge of English law on Meghan's part and not contradicted by Prince Harry. He did contradict her over the 'what colour will the baby be' slur - they had not got their stories straight on that - and it is a question any family might ask of a mixed-race couple - i.e. it's not racist to wonder this any more than to wonder if the baby might have ginger hair (I remember this coming up when I had my own children and I did not see it as racist at all).
Neither Charles nor Andrew nor Edward (who had his ups and downs) have lied about their family, nor accused each other of racism, which slur has been denied by the now Prince of Wales. There is no indication that most of the RF are racist, either.
The point I am making is that anyone can talk about their feelings but telling lies about your family is beyond the pale.

They've had a lot of sh*t thrown at them for rejecting the use of the Dumbarton title but don't pretend that either tabloids or vicious people online would hesitate to use it in the way they feared against Archie. It's disingenuous to suggest otherwise.

People made that argument about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex title too, though - asking how could the Queen give them that one, they’ll be trolled because it has “Sex” in it. That never happened though.

It's a place in Scotland - it genuinely never occurred to me that it could be used in another way.

I know it is, but Harry is old enough to remember the Duchess of Pork headlines poor Fergie got, you can't blame him for being wary

There's no connection between an offensive term for a woman based on her weight, and a place in Scotland.
If Harry was troubled by the title, then he should have told the late Queen, instead of getting Scobie to lie, as per, that they were "rejecting titles" for their son.
Dishonest as usual.

Who said that?

I don't recall Edward and Sophie coming in for any trolling when they were Earl and Countess of Wessex.

And Sussex, Middlesex and Essex are used on a daily basis. Addresses, local authorities, cricket clubs... No-one sniggers.

CarmelaBrunella · 03/09/2024 19:08

The Telegraph is now reporting that a “source” close to Harry is denying that he has any interest in a role within the RF See here

Sorry I don’t have a share token. Can anyone archive it?

Thank goodness for that. Really couldn't stomach any 'help' which tone-deaf, self-pitying Hazbeen & his Mrs might have offered.

Actually it's bloody rude to reject the title because they didn't like the place name. I'm sure the people of Dumbarton are mightily offended that they don't sound grand enough for the Grifters. Then again, like most of us, I'm sure they really don't give a sh*t if the self-entitled couple approve of the name of the place where they live. In fact, like most sane people, I'm pretty sure they think Hazza & Megs are a couple of professional victims, seeking offence at everything. Boo hoo H&M🤣

No reason why it should, CarmelaBrunella; "dumb" isn't generally used as an insult in the UK, but it is in America (though it's still pretty mild as insults go)

Conversely, most Americans would neither know no care that Dumbarton's a place in Scotland; many would just notice the "dumb" bit and perhaps wonder why such a title was chosen, and if it's true that Meghan always intended returning home I can genuinely see why she'd want to avoid that

Mylovelygreendress · 03/09/2024 19:34

Harry is also Baron of Kilkeel (?) so could Archie not have been Lord Kilkeel ? Or were they determined he would be Prince ?
