Netflix deal, looking like it may be over for H&M

The rumours have been doing the rounds for a while, but Puck News now reporting it, which means it is very likely that their contract with Netflix will not be renewed.

"The streamer is not expected to renew its five-year, $100 million deal signed in 2020 with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Meghan’s passion project, the animated kids show Pearl, has already been canceled, and the unscripted cooking and polo offerings didn’t connect the way the royal couple’s Harry & Meghan did. "

That generation of upper class boys mostly were circumcised. It’s a class marker.

Will Harry eventually throw Meghan under the bus too?

No one is thrown under a bus. If you behave in a certain way and it affects someone who is then going to share his own life with others then treat people with respect in the first instance.

Is M treating H with the respect he deserves?

For example. why was he seated away from M, the VP and the VP's spouse at that lunch event in Colombia.

And:

"Hand!"

I get the impression it would very much be the other way around.

He'll be eternally young because he doesn't accept
To take any responsibility for himself or others - it's always everyone else's fault, everyone else's responsibility to cough up money or provide what he expects. His entitlement is intergalactic too - he feels everyone else's money should support him and his family.
Scuzzy though that all this court time about the press and he's telling the world about his brothers circumcision ... amongst other things he's bleated on about to make a few dollars ... I'd love it if people started suing him for him selling their stories!

I thought the way he spoke about his school matron and his first sexual encounter was appalling and he gave no thought to the impact on either woman .
I understand that Spare is to be issued in paperback but no updates . What is the point in that ?

I agree with the hand. Just not necessarily the reason behind it. She is more dominant in the relationship and I don’t think he minds. Mostly.

No such thing as he can’t and shouldn’t.

He clearly can and did. It was something done to him when he was unable to give consent to it as well. This is a topic that rears itself periodically in real life where the practice is to circumcise and people question it. So yes, knowing the royal babies have this done is something that we now know to be true.

Why did he need to mention William at all though? He could have just said 'I was circumcised as a baby' and left it at that. But he didn't.

As to 'can't and shouldn't' vs 'can and did', just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

And allowing him to be seated on a separate table like that! I would would have been appalled at the disrespect of the VP host and would have insisted on sitting with my husband.

If things being done to him without his consent is such a touchy subject to Harry, you’d think he be especially careful not to engage in similar behaviour when it comes to others in his circle, then. But clearly, it’s one rule for him and one for everyone else.

I’m glad you responded because I really can’t be arsed with that poster anymore.

That’s what a normal loving spouse (whichever one) would do. I think she barely registered his presence, she was so taken with the attention she was getting.

Knowing what happened 40 years ago does nothing useful in terms of any remaining debate today.
Unless you think that Harry, who has already divulged this information about one third party, should do so about more third parties

I don't. I think he should never have made those comments - because the press has been silent about it for decades. But even if he wanted to describe his penis to all and sundry, he was absolutely in the wrong to describe anyone else's.

The disrespect shown to Harry in that incident - by all present - is unbelievable.

eta I wonder if this attitude is (part of) the reason Kettler quit.

It's one of those irregular verbs

Harry 'unburdens'
They make money
The world invades his privacy

😂😂 that’s just so funny. I needed cheering up today. It’s been an emotional day.

I thought the same but a number of posters were more than ready to defend and blame the women not "poor" Harry the one making money selling the stories.

Here's a thought: Harry could try treating others with respect. Break the nasty habit he's developed.

CarmelaBrunella · 27/08/2024 16:09

Still no response about the hypothetical Camilla "tell all book" 🙄acceptable or not?

As for revealing he was snipped as a baby when this was talked about years before. Of course he can talk about that. If he was snipped then of course talking about it himself would lead to the confirmation that both babies were.

Doesn't follow at all that because one got snipped the other did too. It can be done for specific medical reasons such as hypospadias or phimosis. Just because one brother had it doesn't mean the other brother did.

Talking about someone else's medical history in public without their consent is just WRONG and a horrible boundary violation. I would be incandescent if one of my siblings did that to me and I would feel deeply, deeply betrayed.

CarmelaBrunella · 27/08/2024 16:22

@GiveMeSpanakopita - indeed, and William is notably a private person. How cruel.

Honestly! I was just thinking about the gynaecological surgeries I had to have a few years ago and how I would feel if one of my sisters talked about them on FB (spoiler: they NEVER would because my sisters care about me).

I would be in bits with anger and betrayal!

You would, and that's understandable. Imagine if you were well known and she put it in a book? Could you bring yourself to talk to her again?.

I probably wouldn't snatch her chain and throw her backwards over a dog bowl, but I definitely would need a long time to calm down before she was allowed in my house again.
