Netflix deal, looking like it may be over for H&M

The rumours have been doing the rounds for a while, but Puck News now reporting it, which means it is very likely that their contract with Netflix will not be renewed.

Unlike as Meghan implied on the OW interview , Archie not being automatically prince was nothing to do with him being mixed race. According to Letters Patent only the children of the direct heir ( so William after Charles ) are automatically styled Prince or Princess. Once the late Queen died Archie and Lily were then offered the titles Prince and Princess because their Grandfather was the King . It ws nothing to do with Archie's skin colour - whatever Megan implied ( and frankly OW should have researched this better I think. - it is so easy to look this up )

Haven't RTFT but I'm just surprised the Harolds have managed to maintain the pretence the much vaunted contract still had legs.

Writing was on the wall when the worthy but excrutiatingly dull sounding 'Pearl' got the chop IMO and all borne out by the resounding silence since.

There may have been pilots made of the polo and cookery shows but why would they have landed with a test audience who'd have been well aware of Harold's track record of cruelty to his ponies and marinated to the eyeballs in the last two decade's worth of kitchen based shows which between them must have exploited every angle going.

I read 'Meet Me At The Lake' and it's possibly the worst penny dreadful penned since penny dreadfuls were a thing. It's never getting near a camera.

Strikes me they're being allowed a more graceful exit than being branded 'fucking grifters' but the outcome's the same.

I knew he went shooting, and I think I heard a rumour he'd hit a horse. I didn't know he was a serious animal abuser. I heard something about his exploits on the London party scene back in the day too, he had a reputation for being an absolute bastard to women. Everything about him is just gruesome- he really doesn't seem to have any redeeming features at all.

What I dont understand is if the cooking show is awful it would probably be a better rating success as it will attract the car crash viewers. I cannot imagine Netflix caring as long as there is streaming. If it’s been filmed why not air it unless the contract relies upon material being produced and aired to access the money.

Quite frankly if I was the RF I say publish and be damned! Hell would freeze over before I had anything to do with either of them again.

You're absolutely right. When they were riding the crest of the wave' they chose to go negative without having any actual concrete proof of wrongdoing against them. If they had gone high, as Michelle Obama said, they potentially could have done very well.

But what I don't understand about this is, Harry himself would have KNOWN this.
He was raised as a Prince so he of all people would have known!
He absolutely 100% beyond any doubt would know this.
So why oh why oh why did he sit there in a filmed interview and allow Meghan to state that their children weren't given titles due to their race? He must have listened to her saying it, knowing the real reason was simply to do with royal tradition and he would have KNOWN that once the Queen had died then their children would be given titles? Which means he would have known Meghan would be shown up for what she was falsely claiming to Oprah, upon his grandmother's death? And he knew they were being filmed and that the interview would be watched by millions?
Honestly, I'm not exaggerating when I say it makes my brain ache with not being able to understand what on earth was going through his or Meghan's minds in that interview.
And what I want to know is, WHY haven't they been called to account for what they claimed, now that their children have been given titles of prince and princess following the Queen's death? This is stark evidence that there was NEVER a racist reason for them not being given titles whilst The Queen was alive. Such a wildly false allegation. Why haven't they been sued for this lie? It caused so much damage to the royal family. Why aren't they being held to account for it?

@WiseOwl24 for Harry is was that the rules were changed for William, so the rules not being changed for him had to be personal. But in reality if the rules were going to be changed for him they would have been done at the same time as Williams and prior Harry meeting Meghan. It’s where the monarch at the time has to look at the future consequences of changing letters patent. Charles it may not of seemed too bigger deal as he only had two children but William has three and George could have a huge amount. As we know from spare Harry emotional truth is just as important as facts.

I don't think it was about anything emotional. I think it was about giving Oprah the racist story, which added to their professional victimhood.
