Welcome to Part 7 of our positive threads, where we explore all things Meghan and Harry. From the causes they champion and their business ventures to Meghan’s (and occasionally Harry’s 😉) fashion moments, there’s a lot to chat about. This is a drama-free space, so let’s keep it upbeat! High five to @queentim for the original inspiration.

I know! All that immense talent wasted being an influencer for a lifestyle coaching business, making documentaries about environmentally damaging sports and launching spurious lawsuits to get taxpayers to pay for his security. When he could be saving the world!

The British Media (sic) forced him. People were dancing in the streets of Wigan and Barnsley when they heard he was going to be on Oprah. The media control so much, he's forced to juggle and go on chat shows and make up lies about his family for money.
'tis a tragedy 😭

...nor expecting the UK taxpayer to pay for top security, whenever he wants it, even though he no longer works for the UK, nor supports the Head of State, like Harry. That's "scrounging".

Expecting is different to actually paying for it though. We aren't paying for him right now or have for quite some time so i don't care about expectations

We pay for Harry's security whenever he is in the UK.
I object to that.

As Prince of Wales William is mostly financed by the Duchy of Cornwall, not by taxpayers.

And at least he's not wasting taxpayers' money and resources on spurious toys from pram legal cases which he's destined to lose.

They receive money from the sovereign grant which is a % of the profits that is to be spent to cover the costs of their duties. Which is typical over £100m+a year. During covid when their profits dropped like most if not all businesses did, the government were legally obligated to ensure they received the same profit as they did the previous yr. Infact that can happen for any year.

But how disgusting when the country was on its knees due to a pandemic when they were barely doing any work and yet the government had to find addtional money to top up their profits. Money thay us taxpayers are having to pay off. If they really cared they could of said no and refused it.

He forced the Home Office, a taxpayer funded government dept, to spend tens if not hundreds of grand fighting his stupid case. He has also tied up the courts with said stupid case, even though it's destined to be unsuccessful.

I hope the HO make good on their pledge to pursue him for every penny of their costs. Why should the taxpayer fund the bruised ego of an exiled prince?

Could have said no?
Harry and Meghan could have said no to all the millions that came their way. Didn't. Funny that.

Exactly. He does precisely zero and gets richly rewarded.
What a scrounger.

You want him to have NO security when he comes to the UK?

He can have whatever security RAVEC deem necessary, which depending on threat assessment, might be nothing.

I do not want to pay for his security.
He can pay himself. He's a multimillionaire. He does nothing for the UK.

Totally agree.

Nobody here has ever been able to tell me why this system is not eminently fair and reasonable, and I've asked many times. Harry's shiny lawyers won't be able to persuade RAVEC either. His hissy fit of a court case is an expensive farce, which wouldn't be such an issue if it weren't also a waste of public money and resources.

The problem was always William…who is also trending on X as workshy, jealous and lying.

https://www.cheatsheet.com/entertainment/former-staffer-says-prince-william-jealous-prince-harry-popularity-young-age-problem.html/

Harry continues his evolution into a worldwide statesmen who has the ear of serious people and activist celebrities. He has become a notable speaker and advocate on mental health who also recently received yet another standing ovation in New York. He also remains a free spirit unshackled from an institution who can no longer dim his light. He also can laugh and joke and be relatable whether it is when he took part in the haunted house fun (huge publicity again and he trended once more on X) or when he received huge publicity for his visits to charities he has been long term patrons of in London, Lesotho and South Africa. Newspapers everywhere covered it.

Goodness, Harry’s energy is phenomenal. Fantastic interview with Paul Gasol. Harry’s role as Chief Impact Officer earns him around a million dollars a year. If you want a man with high energy who is followed everywhere he goes and who is heavily supported in the charitable sector because of his independent work ethic and realness when it comes to causes then Harry is your man. BetterUp is getting the publicity they employed Harry for.

www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13921673/Prince-Harry-purpose-flow-basketball-star-Pau-Gasol-mental-health.html

Meghan was accompanied by Harry in a supportive role when she was invited to both Colombia and Nigeria. Showing support for his wife was lovely and both visits were widely praised as successful.

Meghan, we await your memoir. Hold out for the tens of millions estimated in an alleged bidding war. Revenge is always a dish best served cold. You have the receipts…use them.

I don't know when I last read a bigger load of bullshite. Probably the last speech your idol gave.

Lady, you got it bad!!!

Diana’s heir is indeed thriving. 🩷 🩵

Phonetically in a little box next to his bed so he can sniff it at night.

Richer ✔️ course he is, he's a billionaire and heir to the throne. That's why he's richer
More intelligent. Really? Let's not go back to A levels please! Who knows
Better educated. See above.
Better looking. That's all a matter of taste
Taller. That's so so funny to imagine the difference of 1 inch when you're over 6' anyway, is an attribute? Seriously?!
More powerful. No idea what that means but being heir to a throne will give you more power I suppose!
More popular. Course he is! Heir again!
Excellent security. Haha course he has, he's heir to a throne!

My Lucky DH, he's nearly William's height! An abundance of riches for him!

Of course William is more intelligent and better educated! He's a graduate while Harry has a couple of shit A levels!

Infinitely better looking!

An inch - well size doesn't matter?!

He's more popular because he's loyal to his family and hasn't shat across their reputation right across the globe!

Tumbleweed comments from a ghost town this board has turned into. Holding on to Harry like a jilted lover by some. No comments are grounded in facts but opinions from a bygone period of nastiness fielded by the UK papers. The speculation and ridiculous theories from unnamed sources on here is truly laughable and so divorced from the reality on the ground. Harry does not need the royals and how the press continue to tag Harry and Meghan onto their articles about the dusty royals is a joke. Never mind, keep believing that you are right.

Edited

Right back atya luv! Yet you keep coming back to the "ghost town" with endless ridiculous barbs. Why?

Harry is nobody without his royal status. He needs the Royals way more than they need him, trust me!

Runnerinthenight · 04/10/2024 18:15

Triplesec · 04/10/2024 14:12

Your first mistake is believing that a university education is the only sign of intelligence. Harry has proved he is intelligent a thousand fold since his lost years. You refuse to see the good in his actions because you prefer to hold onto the thicko tag. No one is buying it anymore. Move on. Try and post nice things about the royals in the UK. Oh, wait a minute there isn’t much is there.

Well the two shite A levels hardly scream "intelligence" do they?

Harry is as thick as a brick. Methinks he's not alone in that.

Only rich cos taxpayers pay for him dont forget. Some have called him the biggest benefit scrounger there is considering how little work he does

Edited

OK then, with your 'insider knowledge', tell us "how little work" William does?

The taxpayer paid for your precious Harry for long enough too, and still would be if he hadn't flounced. He still thinks we should pay for his bloody security - what "work" will we get in return for that?

Talk about perpetuating silly gossip!

Ashley is really going all out for her last day at work 😂

I couldn't even wade my way through that utter load of tripe.

Nobody ever posts about the RF in such sycophantic terms. Sometimes I actually worry about people (not for long of course!)

Nor the taxpayer's money currently being wasted paying for his stupid court cases, which are themselves in turn in an effort to fleece the taxpayer for his security when he does nothing in return??

That Harry!!

Hahaha this entire board perpetuates silly gossip all the time

What insider knowledge do peollw have when they make nasty comments about H&M as though they know what they are thinking and doing ...it's just speculation and completely made up too

And we can see how little work William does and has done compared tp the other royal since the number fo engagements they do is published. And noone can say anything about work done in private since noone knows own so all we can definitely say is based on what is publicly available.
