Welcome to Part 7 of our positive threads, where we explore all things Meghan and Harry. From the causes they champion and their business ventures to Meghan’s (and occasionally Harry’s 😉) fashion moments, there’s a lot to chat about. This is a drama-free space, so let’s keep it upbeat! High five to @queentim for the original inspiration.

You missed one of her trips to the bookshop, skullbabe! She went there three different times last week!

This reminds of of Top Gear when they leave the labels on their hats (I know it's only a key ring or something)

BustingBaoBun · 16/09/2024 10:53

Meghan looks great. I think she's put on a bit of weight, it suits her, I think she needed to
(She can have some of mine if she likes!)

At the launch party the next day

This is all old news 🤷‍♀️

They went to the George Zajfen Tennis Tournament this past Saturday supporting the Zajfen family. This is a charity event held in honour of George who died aged 9 from a viral illness. Kelly co-founded the Alliance of Moms - a community who support pregnant and parenting teens in LA’s foster care system so that they can build a positive future for themselves and their children.

What happened to Harry's private birthday at home with his wife and children? This is the life he has to lead though.

Three times to a book shop in a week? Bizarre!

Have to say I really don't like the dress she wore to the tennis, it doesn't do anything for her.

She’s getting her money’s worth. For $200 dollars a month or whatever it costs, I’d be bloomin well living there! 😂

Harry attended and sponsored an event with his wife the day before his birthday honouring the life of their friend’s 9 year old child in whose memory the event was held.

Can they do that without making it a photo opportunity?

On this one, I think they did a good thing.

If they show up and are seen, it will get a lot of publicity to the cause. Occasionally even notoriety can do some good and on balance I think it could have done so here.

Might they have been doing it cynically? Yes, possible. But the effect for the cause is much they same - they want the publicity (more important for small/local causes, who don't usually attract much attention).

Showing up with no publicity wouldn't have the same impact - Archewell doesn't give large donations, but what H&M's presence gives is clicks and exposure.

And who knows, maybe the Sussex Squad will have the reach and generosity that to raise as much as spoof ARO did for the Trussell Trust. It's an opportunity to show that they can spotlight a cause and good come from that moment in the limelights

She’s dressed in high heels, teeny dress and handbag. Neither the cause nor the activities of the event, were high on her agenda. It’s merching as usual.

Ah ok it was the day before - thanks. I'm sure he wanted to have a quiet family birthday.

They have been photographed leaving Tyler Perrys birthday party . Poor Harry, no big birthday bash for him.

BustingBaoBun · 16/09/2024 22:08

I'm sure he's having a great birthday with his family.
Tyler Perry was very kind to them and is godparent to Archie, bet they had a great time! Why would anyone think different?

I think differently. I've have expected Meghan to arrange a 40th birthday celebration that was special for him.

Personally I don't get involved in what people decide to do on big birthdays especially those I don't know.
I'm sure he had a lovely time and as said, who knows what his wife planned for him

Perhaps Meghan should have consulted you first Runner?

Horror of horrors!

Meghan made an effort to dress up for a charity event!

No doubt if she has dressed down she would have been criticised too.

This level of negativity is really getting ridiculous now!

What’s next? Is Meghan going to be criticised for breathing?

Clearly she should have - I do an excellent party! If he was at Tyler Perry's party on his birthday then it doesn't look as if he had one of his own, not on the day itself at least.

Not that I give a damn, just idly speculating, and giving the fangirls a chance to make a comment...

BustingBaoBun · 17/09/2024 06:59

Tyler Perry's party was the day before Harry's birthday, not on the day... they stayed for hours, and who knows what they did on the actual day.

How weird to speculate on this, my big one is looming, my DH isn't throwing me a party, awful man! Is it a rule me and DH don't know about given Meghan should clearly have thrown him a big party on the day?!

That post is funny 😂 😁

He's not a godparent to Archie. He hadn't even met H&M when Archie was born.

Grow up. It's perfectly okay to celebrate your birthday on another day than your actual birthday and celebrate it however you like, big bash or something small.
