Anyone watching this? It's on My5. I thought the first episode was interesting. I was reminded of how popular they were and how much support they got.

Just for the Viennetta Connoisseur there is a Biscoff and Neapolitan Viennetta to up the sophistication

Why would the Spencers fake a warm greeting? There is nothing in it for them.
The press did not even know the Spencers were going to attend the Invictus church service.
And truthfully, I think you can tell when it is genuine.

He stayed in a hotel . He was offered Buckingham Palace but turned it down .

Suggesting they might sow negative seeds in their children’s heads is very believable. Yes families fall out but they’re not splashed all over the media for years. H&M will need to explain and justify the tonnes of negative press between them and the RF and why there has been no relationship for the children with their extended RF family.

Even fans of H&M can’t be so infatuated that they never see the darker side of these two.

But surely that wouldn't have been secure enough, and we all know how much Harry worries about security in the UK.

Frankly, if I were Charles etc I wouldn't be alone with either of them for fear that anything said would end up in Spare 2 or the next Netflix show, suitably edited of course. It fits with the "when someone shows you who they are, believe them" and cutting off the supply is wise. They can do very little with nothing other than go "Wah wah noone loves us", but that is by far the less damaging option IMO. Sad state of affairs but they have brought it upon themselves.

If this is true, William and Kate will also have to explain this to their children. Harry is their only Uncle.
I wonder if William's children have any contact with the Spencers?

Even the most devoted H&M fans would agree that there will be much to explain to Archie and Lilibet. They will, no doubt, come to their own conclusions about the performances of their parents.

Sadly, William and Catherine will have to explain about the behaviour of Harry and Meghan. It won't be pleasant.
However, I do hope they're spared "Spare".

James Middleton has talked about his significant mental health problems, and how his family, including Catherine, have been an amazing support for him. I think that says a lot about them as a family because that's so tough.

@IsoldeWagner no one is disputing that they have a close and loving family. Any close and loving family supports a family member with depression.

That’s going to be a lot easier as their children do mix with the extended RF. The Sussex children mix with NO extended RF family.

Nadeed you’re a fan, I can see that and you’ll defend them till the end but do you ever wonder why the US media don’t like them much either? The US have nothing to do with the RF so it’s not that.

Harry is not their only uncle. They have uncle James.

I am not a fan. I do not see this as a game of goodies and baddies.
The children have 4 branches of family. It does not matter if they only see the York sisters in one branch of the family.
When you marry someone who comes from another country it is inevitable there are family branches you rarely see.

I don't actually know whether he is or not. I do know that he is having cancer treatment and having to be careful of his immune system and has a pretty full schedule that precludes hopping over to the US on a whim, because King. Haven't seen Meghan putting herself out to come visit the ill person, either, or actually Harry very much, considering they both have plenty of time for faux Royal tours.

What I'm saying is that if I were him I wouldn't be alone with either or both of them because they have shown themselves to be entirely untrustworthy. If he's avoiding them, some of us understand why, perfectly and sadly that impacts on little Archie and Lili.

Indeed. I think that maintaining levels of privacy and discretion is also at the heart of this because it's about trust.

That might wane a bit as he did not go to his uncle's funeral (security again)
