Anyone watching this? It's on My5. I thought the first episode was interesting. I was reminded of how popular they were and how much support they got.

The whole world watched this wonderful couple meet, marry, and have children!
Meghan is certainly a looker and extremely vivacious! Harry is very much like his mother, the people's prince! Likeability was off the charts!

Looking objectively I saw HM sore very high very quickly, their tour to Canada, Australia, and New Zealand was incredible. It was like they were rock stars!

When the Fab 4 was on stage together, Meghan's personality certainly outshined Catherine's rather dull personality (Stepford Wife), as Omid Scobie wrote (LOL). Williams's face says it all, with dark bags under his eyes. On a side note, William is looking uglier as he gets older!

By the time the South African tour was underway, they were more popular than the Queen and the rest of the RF!

This is when the negative press against Meghan really ramped up!

As in Harry's book, he quoted "You are not allowed to outshine the Queen!"

If people on here don't think the RF doesn't control the press, how come there has not been one documentary on Camilla? Or that Charles was allowed to marry his mistress?
No documentary on how Camilla's family was affected over the years by her ongoing affair with Charles!

Currently, the remaining working RF members are breaking down! 2 people are extremely ill!
Whereas HM is a picture of health!

@Mymilkshakebringsallthepapstomycar you mentioned how Harry gets away with suggesting the RF has no concern for mental health, despite initiatives which prove the contrary, and I've sometimes wondered if he feels that the sensitive nature of such issues makes it less likely that folk will contradict him - not that they'd ever get the chance in a face to face interview

Many have offered his mental state as a reason for the RF not stirring the pot, and if this is true it could be seen as another example of the above

This tedious “argument” again! Catherine and William will work until William drops dead - no retirement for them. They are taking the time to bring up their children with as much normalcy as possible, breaking the fucked up cycles of the two previous generations of royal children who were left for long periods of time with nannies and housekeepers. This is good, isn’t it? Breaking the cycle your beloved Harry experienced? Giving those kids a secure upbringing with present parents so they too don’t end up fucked up. They are not like any other ordinary family. They are doing what’s best in their circumstances with the means that they have, as any of us would in the same position.

Once William is King (which may come sooner than anyone had planned for) he will be in the job till the end of his days. Life will never be the same again for the whole family. I don’t begrudge them one second of their time together now.

Nastiness? Oh yes, everyone can call a mother (Meghan) all the names under the sun including racial comments about her and her children, and accuse her of unsubstantiated behavior but William and Kate are untouchable? And innocent of everything!
Fergie, Diana, and Charles all did interviews and admitted affairs, etc.
HM dish the dirt and everyone's upsettsy wetsy, diddums!
I hope they dish more, brilliant tv!

Good point. So he's not too mentally damaged that he can't also be a manipulative, devious, nasty little sod.

Of course they were celebrated! My DD was a girl guide, they had a special badge for the wedding with activities based around Meghan’s and Harry’s accomplishments. We watched all the wedding coverage and it was positive and joyful. The press treated Catherine in particular as an old, boring frump who couldn’t hold a candle to Meghan. She was golden. She fucked it up herself, not the RF, not the British press.

I agree.
They had it all on a plate.
But it wasn't enough.

It was not a comment “shitting” on anyone else. It was a comment about what this particular family in their unique circumstances and with their unique history, unlike those of any other family are doing, particularly in a health crisis. And that includes working, which William has been doing and Catherine is starting to come back to doing. Your simplistic dig, lacking in comprehension skills, dripping in envy, was indeed, in my opinion, bitchy as well as par for the course from pro Sussex voices, who never apply the same work ethic - or any ethics for that matter - to their favourites.
