Lovely photo. It’s amazing how when they get to about 11 they suddenly start to look really grown up 🙂

He looks like he's going to try and sell me an insurance policy! Poor kid.

He is looking very grown up all of a sudden! Looks a lot like George VI in this photo. It's a lovely shot.

Bless him - I see him looking a lot like Charlotte in that shot.

It's funny how we see different people!

The royal person I think he resembles is....and I am absolutely NOT implying anything more than a physical resemblance...is ...drumroll...Edward VIII.

If you look at pics of EVIII when a child, or when he was PoW, he was undeniably handsome and actually, I think, not really like his siblings or parents (mind you, we don't know what George V looked like under that beard!).

I wish I was clever enough to post a pic of him for comparison.

He does look incredibly mature! Fingers crossed the lad doesn’t get his dad’s hair genes.

I mean it's a strange modelled photo for an 11 year old boy i don't think they thought it through of course I don't think he should be posing with his middle finger and hood up!

I think it’s part of making him
less identifiable when he is dressed casually. Harder to match him up irl to that photo if he doesn’t normally dress like that, only when he is “on duty”

Insurance? He’s dressed in something not far off school uniform. I think he resembles his mum and maternal grandfather. Lovely picture of a sweet kid.

Here's a pic of Ed VIII as a young man - but I'm sure I've seen images of him as a child which are the spit of George. I'll keep looking.

I've always thought that Edward was a very 'un-Windsor-y' looking person - I can't really see his parents in him, or his siblings, but as we know - these things are subjective. It's the eyes and the delicate nose particularly. But of course George is 50% Middleton too, and they all have great bone-structure, the lucky devils.

I’m glad KP has continued to post these pictures on their SM and left the press to lift them from there.

Of course, it's an official portrait with posterity in mind - so not a snap of him playing on his X box, which I'm sure he does do.

It's very (what the French would call) Bon Chic, Bon Genre - and what it reminds me of is those ads of Patek Philippe watches that you sometimes see in posh magazines - where an impossibly chic mother or father, dressing exquisite, classic, understated clothes which have cost an arm and a leg, are seen with a similarly dressed mini-me son or daughter. All in tasteful monochrome, too.

This is why I love the RF - I don't want it to be TOO relatable and mundane!

Perhaps he ought to wear street clothing with large logos on and have a McDonald's haircut.
