If he did it will definitely upset some anti Harry royalists/daily mail readers/ right wing Americans. Can’t have Harry receiving the King surely….he is supposed to be beyond the pale these days.

The strange thing is - the articles in Newsweek and the New York Post are largely pro-Sussex but the BTL commenters are overwhelmingly heartfelt anti-Sussex.

It seems the American tabloids haven't yet got that knack that (we are told) the British tabloids have of being able to brainwash their readers.

To be honest, I think that some people have a touching faith in any member of the RF of either sex's freedom to make decisions about the way their lives are presented to us.

Celebitchy is a hate site. It may well be accurate by your standards, but not by mine.

It feels like it was only practically yesterday we were experiencing the same nonsense.

Having to is something one can feel compelled to do when a foreign bride to be and then wife is dealt with so appallingly in the public arena by mainstream UK newspapers. No headlines previously matched the dog whistle racism that was deployed. Passionate response that motivates action will always be felt as a drive of having to speak out in support. Hence the political class felt it right and proper to speak up.

Once again it is not about the other women who married in and their experience in the mainstream papers. It is about the uniqueness of the barely hidden disdain and erroneously deployed narrative of ‘skid row’ and ‘gangsta’ that Meghan received despite an Ivy League education and her own independent charitable works. Thankfully, thousands know this even if some have blinkers on.

To also be clear I think that Catherine had a rough time of it but in terms of a league table of awful press she was not in the premier league of bile in opinion pieces found in the right wing press.

Harry inherited 10's of millions. He went to the US, and is living an extremely environmentally unsound life- enormous house, Lots of green lawn in a water-fragile state, constant private planes. He is ignoring African Parks. He is ignoring any environmental issues at all as far as I can see. Seriously, Jamaica for a film premier surrounded by people in shorts eating popcorn?

His idea of show up and do good is showing up at controversial award ceremonies. 50,000 plus people have signed that petition about the Tillman Awards. Not to mention the aviation awards. Still not sure why he showed up to Nigeria.

No they didn't! They still haven't shut up. There are still multiple rumours doing the rounds.

I agree there are still rumours circulating about Catherine.

But 1) the rumours are nowhere near the level they were at earlier this year.

And 2) There’s not much of it on here. It’d be nice to keep it that way.

The same with rumours about Meghan, and the assumptions/speculation about her. It would be nice if people reined in their vitriol (as Vespanet put it) in regards to Meghan.
