Will he?

I am no gambler but I can’t see it myself. Not unless he wants to show his support of his son. Would KC be that generous to his ‘darling boy’? If he did it will definitely upset some anti Harry royalists/daily mail readers/ right wing Americans. Can’t have Harry receiving the King surely….he is supposed to be beyond the pale these days.

William is reported as being ‘baffled’. Baffled? More like blazingly angry about it if true. I guess Will’s thought he could act like a ‘cuckoo’ and get Harry out now and forever. Maybe, the ‘bullying’ trait reported over the years by many, many people regarding him is still there.

Maybe a lot of people do what you've just done and take a lot from a story that hasn't actually been said. That's how all the ridiculous rumours start

I’m sure you get my point.

Will he what?

Your rambling post makes no sense OP.

We don't all live in Windsor/read the DM (have to pay now anyway).

ConstantGarden1 · 01/07/2024 23:10

Will he make a private visit to meet Harry and his Grandchildren in the USA. It has been reported that he is thinking of doing this.

Who cares if an elderly man with cancer wants to visit his estranged son and grandchildren. That is after all what he is, the riches and privilege etc mean nothing really in the end, you only get one life and age and illness will likely get all of us. To make amends before it's too late on a personal level is important for closure for all involved during family rifts.

SlightlygrumpyBettyswaitress · 01/07/2024 23:19

Well let's hope so.

I hope so too. Life is far too short.

I am sure The King misses Harry but the idea that he would visit Montecito is frankly ridiculous. The King requires Special Protection and travels with numerous members of staff . I know H and M have a large house but ………. And I cannot imagine Charles doing something that Camilla isn’t happy about.
The King will be in Scotland for most of the summer . Why don’t the Sussexes go to Balmoral and enjoy the beautiful countryside and the children can meet their cousins?
Of course it would make an interesting episode for Netflix .

SonicTheHodgeheg · 01/07/2024 23:29

If he’s too busy to see Harry when he’s in London, then he’s too busy to see Harry in the US. 🤷‍♀️

Charles can’t just hop on a plane to see Harry - if he wanted to see Harry then he’d have to liaise with the US security services as he’s a Head of State and book secure accomodation in advance. If he travels to the US he will also have no control over photographs or video taken of him with the Sussexes. A UK reunion would have him being able to control aspects like that.

I think that he definitely misses Harry but doesn’t want the media chaos that will accompany a reunion - especially as Harry is highly likely to sell details to the highest bidder regardless of whether or not it’s true or not.

Gorgonemilezola · 01/07/2024 23:40

I think if Harry wants to see his Dad it would be easy to just jump on a plane - I mean he managed to get to Nigeria which I guess took a few more plane changes than LA to London.

William has had to put up with his brother and sister in law insulting his wife, making serious claims about his father and wife that they've had to row back on, put up with spurious, damaging and unfounded rumours spread by his brother and sister in law's supporters. Damned right he's baffled and 'blazingly angry'.

If William was on MN he'd be told to go no contact with his nut job brother and sister in law and protect his wife and family. Which, of course, is exactly what he's doing.

I think you are right.

I’d hate to be on my deathbed regretting a continued estrangement from any of my children. There is no redo.

Mistakes have been made on both sides. That is usually the way of things.

Regarding the article, I don’t believe the author of this article has any insider knowledge on Charles’, Camilla’s or William’s thoughts.

I’m amazed at how many Royal Experts seem to be telepathic! Their readers and followers too.

Life is too short - yes it is to entertain negative people. When you have only so many years ahead of you you cannot be arsed with hassle.

HueyDueyandBluey · 01/07/2024 23:49

I'm sure he probably would like to see Harry and the grandkids but I think a California trip is highly unlikely likely unless the children are brought to him at a secure location where he can control the photos etc. I can't see KC wandering around Montecito with Harry. It's all a massive shame.

Thanks. Seems okay so far. Although not sure how I ended up in a Royal Discussion group. I was answering a gardening question. Then I clicked on something and was here. All rather confusing. Anyways, not really a royalist so probs won’t be here more than a minute. I am assuming this is a group of pro royal followers so don’t want to get into it. Some people, I know, love the royal family but I just like gardening really.

Makes a change from ‘I’m no fan of Prince Harry’ but then launch into a tirade of why they adore him and hate William, it’s certainly a new take for sure.

Bless you! Just a bit of an unfortunate accident to start a thread complete with links and gifs on a subject you are not remotely interested in on a forum you have just joined.

New Idea? The same Australian New Idea that has claimed that now Queen Mary of Denmark was pregnant with triplets several times and that, if accurate, Jennifer Aniston should have as many children as the Duggars.

It makes the National Enquirer look like The Sunday Times.

Yet your opening post is full of your own made up suppositions and guesswork.

The irony

Late HM used to make private visits to Kentucky horse farms, so no reason why HM couldn't go to Montecito. I doubt he'd announce it to the world, though.

What side is releasing this 'news' I wonder?
