William has been called “The coolest motherf” by two of the very coolest guys. The Kelce brothers, Jason and Travis Kelce met William, George and Charlotte at the Taylor Swift concert a few days ago. Now they’ve been fangirling over William and full of praise for Charlotte and George in their podcast.

It’s starting to shape up as the “Summer of Wales.”

These two NFL players are really popular in the US right now. More recently they became household names even for people that know nothing about football, because Travis is dating Taylor Swift. Could you get any better exposure in the US?

For clarity, I meant the baldy twat comment since fans of Harry frequently use that and similar phrases. Which is weird because … oh never mind.

I didn't realise that. I thought the poster who said that, was just saying that the Kelce brothers could hardly say they didn't like him.

I'm not interested in slagging anyone off or being on anyone's side. I'm not really interested in the Royals and only noticed the thread as it was about Taylor Swift and iI watched the podcast earlier.

That’s exactly what I thought they meant too. And I clicked on this because it mentioned Taylor Swift.

Good PR for the UK is in short supply and it’s great luck that Taylor has had lots of dates here which has definitely made some people happier this summer.

I was listening to a podcast from two very experienced PR advisers earlier this week, before the Kelce brothers’ own podcast came out, and they were amazed at the incredible “PR Air Cover” that Taylor Swift commands, and that she had chosen to deploy that to feature William and his children in a rare personal snap on her instagram feed, with a matching snap on his. 56m combined views later it had to be viewed as a masterstroke. And it clearly didn’t come out of nowhere, any more than the Guards at Buckingham Palace had played “Shake It Off” earlier that day.

So, carefully planned - but Taylor (and Kelce) needed to be happy to agree to it. And therein lies the coup - they were, and did.

And I really am off to let the dogs out now.

Y'all do realise Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are in a PR relationship, right?

Travis' NFL career will be over soon and he wants connections and an acting career for after he retires.

Taylor is just having fun stunting with him and trying to get the world to realise that she's actually rather fonder of women.

After all the awful crap that comes from the US side of the pond, the Sussex's, Bouzy, Celebitchy et al, who love to denigrate the Wales, It is wonderful to see how the biggest celebrity couple in the world, who have a massive US following, are excited and honoured to have met William, George and Charlotte, Apparently Taylor face timed Catherine too.

It definitely sends a message that they support the Wales despite all the mud that has been flung at them.

Oh I didn’t know that. Very sweet.

The stunting with football man is a distraction for the media so they ignore what she's doing in her actual private life.

She's trying to get her fans to actually listen to what she's trying to tell them so it's not such a big shock when she blows it all up.

She's literally spent the entirety of pride month telling her fans that she spends lots of time thinking about really good songs to mash up in the surprise section and then sung a bunch of songs that are about women or taking a deep breath and stepping into the daylight.

Oh and dressing as a lesbian flag on the regular.

What they do in their spare time is up to them. Kelce seems like a nice guy who is a family man. Taylor donates to good causes and appears to have a sense of integrity.

I am bemused by the reaction to this. William and the children had a good time at the Swift concert and her boyfriend says he is a cool guy. Fine. But he is the future King of Britain. Why are people saying this is good PR? Is meeting a famous singer the kind of PR he Heir needs? It strikes me as very strange.
And the articles about how taking his children to a concert shows what a good father William is simply demonstrate how low the bar is for fathers.

I thought it was interesting to see what Travis said about meeting William as a contrast to the way British celebrities are rather po faced and discreet about any royal interactions.

I don't think anyone in the photos is particularly in need of raising their public profiles but it seems to be part of going to Eras to post on social media. Hugh Grant's tweet was my favourite.

Only someone who’s been living on Mars for the past few years would consider Taylor just a “pop star”. She’s no, 5 on Forbes magazine’s list of the World’s most Powerful Women, with them calling out her proven ability to move economies, her $1.1bn net worth and her ability to bypass traditional structures (like Hollywood studios and their distribution channels to release her Eras tour movie) to achieve what she wants.

The only women ahead of her are those with hard power - Christine Lagarde, Ursula von der Leyen, Kamala Harris and Giorgia Meloni.
