anyone else notice that word being used?

Indeed I did (and, as we know, it's not just a misspelled "clique").

BadPennyForeverTurningUp · 18/06/2024 09:14

Mais oui.

MrsDanversGlidesAgain · 18/06/2024 09:15

May we what?

I wish my legs were as good as William's.

CurlewKate · 18/06/2024 09:17

I remember the Ralph Lauren advertisement one appearing. It's still funny all these years later...

Mais oui.

Do Clinique (I think) still do "Oui"?
Never a good thing to murmur in anglophone company if someone asks you what you smell of...

Edited: just checked and it's Lancome

It was almost like it was their full time job!

Wasn't it just. Long screeds of over the top positive PR, the accusations of twisting words in posts....it was one long argument.

MrsDanversGlidesAgain · 18/06/2024 09:28

trying to shit down conversation

Now THERE'S a Freudian slip!

TheFirmBiscuit · 18/06/2024 09:29

Before I go point of order this is all from my brain none of it is AI generated if that helps.

MrsDanversGlidesAgain · 18/06/2024 09:33

It's not an airport. You don't have to announce your departure.

LaMarschallin · 18/06/2024 09:34

CurlewKate

I remember the Ralph Lauren advertisement one appearing.

Unusually for me, I don’t remember it.
You're right - it is very Ralph Lauren. Although my first thought was a cross between a scene from a 1980s sex & shopping novel and a Gainsborough.
Diana looks very good (the hair was "of its time" as they say) in riding boots and jodhpurs despite the fact she didn't ride.

MrsDanversGlidesAgain · 18/06/2024 09:38

I seem to recall people having a field say with the body language in that picture (the one with Diana, not the recent one).

Sadly today I smell of commute.

That's the point they would have been allies and we could have had a respectful but spirited debate. You are many I am few and you see off most irritants on this open free speech forum so I would be fighting a losing battle. I am certain a few of you may well have awards or have visited the Palace in some respect so you are invested so to speak. Unlike me who is just wasting time and there is my mum and she's not wrong. Which actually has me welling up so there was a point after all. I wish you all a good day and adieu.

This post appears to be entirely created from the poster's imaginings about other posters.

Which is a shame, as it derails from discussion of the Wales family and a photo of the children captioned as them expressing love for their father on Fathers Day

It is a lovely and relatable photo. The royals seem to be moving in that direction with their photos.

I don't understand why not seeing faces is a problem. It's obvious who they are even without the context. Very famous people are instantly recognisable.

Ohpleeeease · 18/06/2024 10:04

The posters mentioned by TheFirmBiscuit enjoyed their own and each other’s company and winding up everyone else. They are not gone, folks.

jeffgoldblum · 18/06/2024 10:09

Um ! How can my post that just said " agreed" be deleted??

CurlewKate · 18/06/2024 10:10

@LaMarschallin I've just gone down a very interesting rabbit hole about the "Ralph Lauren" picture! Worth a google....

ThePoshUns · 18/06/2024 10:35

No they still walk amongst us

AliceOlive · 18/06/2024 10:49

Different rules for different posters. Some can sock puppet and not even be given a break and some can’t write “agree” or post a funny gif based on a once highly popular song that fits the other comments on the board without being deleted.

This feels all about goad and report in an effort to get people suspended. Can we get back on topic?
