I just caught up with another thread that @TheFirmBiscuit was on, they were sock puppeting on that one, are @ForFirmBiscuit the same person and they are sock puppeting on this thread as well? Why are Mumsnet allowing this?

This is not me I have tried to engage, thought it was some sort of nice compliment or a joke and didn't understand the answer - so I'm not . Lessons learned - I am suspecting malfeasance. I maybe being trolled !

I think "Unwinese" was not quite the same as the use of "malapropisms", although I suspect the creator of the former was a fan of R.B.Sheridan.

The issue is that William an Catherine and Charles have not been complaining or explaining despite really vile SS campaigns, the Endgame farce by the now obscure Omid Scobie, and accusations by Bouzy.

It's worked. The response to Trooping the Color was great. The NY Times covered Catherine's return. There was a huge turnout in the online footage that I watched.

Also, I bet those cookies are less likely to give me food poisoning than the jam. 😁

I do think this more evidence that the KP advisers are a bit rubbish. Maybe they are the team who also manage Sunak? 🤣. I'd been on that team I would have said to stick to some of the many pictures of William with his father. Good PR for both of them. The back view one is lovely-but one glance should have shown how open to interpretation it is.

And it doesn't help to say that people should just take it at face value. Maybe they should-but they won't.

It's only "open to interpretation" from those with a certain kind of mindset. It wouldn't matter what the composition of the picture was.

This. And also if they never post any pictures of the children, then that would bring about mental gymnastics from the lunatic fringe as well. So they may as well just post what they think are nice photos. Like most people do on SM. And ignore all the background noise

I love it. I’d like to think Catherine looked at the four of them with love and thought “that’s my family”. That’s what I take from that composition.

Me too. It's all about their love for each other and their closeness as a family, and you don't have to see their faces to get that.

And in that sense Catherine is as much part of the photo as if she’d been in it.
