I don't see anyone putting the royals on a pedestal.

I did see threads speculating about eating disorders, possible illnesses (always bowel related), sexual habits, affairs, laziness, divorce etc etc.

If you don't think being the focus of rumours doesn't affect an individual then I'm not sure how to explain.

There seems to be a rift in the space time continuum. These are exactly the same arguments people were posting to excuse all the vile rumours.

Or maybe people like you can learn a lesson in respecting people’s private, medical issues and the boundaries they have built around them. Whatever their status. It was made perfectly clear that they were waiting for the children to go on Easter break so they could let their children know about the cancer before anyone else. Only those nosy bastards who think they have the right to know what’s going on inside someone else’s abdomen couldn’t accept the initial, very clear statement that Catherine would not return to be seen in public before Easter. Nothing said in the initial statement back in January was anything less than clear.

This whole post is so wrong, that I'm completely without words to describe it!

The onslaught only (partially) ended when Catherine was forced to disclose her cancer diagnosis!

Some of the posting was about the photo and about the comms coming from KP, but to deny that amongst it were salacious rumours based on zero, gleefully repeated, is disingenous in the extreme.

I believe the evidence of my own eyes and it's apparent I'm far from alone.
