If you’re going to sock puppet hunt, do it properly and report to MNHQ.

How insecure do you have to be to think people disagreeing with you must be the same person.

I didn’t accuse you or anyone else . It was a casual observation .
How insecure do you have to be to get het up by a general comment ?

No, but I reckon the bad weather was down to the Montecito Malevolents using their dark powers affect the climate. Who knows what wickedness they will cook up next, but we sure as hell will get a headsup here.

🤣

So you seriously think Meghan timed the delivery of some jam and biscuits with the trooping of the colour?

Do you not see how batshit that is? Talk about conspiracy theories.

It’s a pattern of behaviour observed over the last couple of years and predicted by all observant watchers every time there is a major royal event. No conspiracy needed - those depend on guesswork and no evidence. The evidence is aplenty.

There are no casual comments. Sock puppet hunting is against the rules.

Report to MNHQ if you have concerns.

Please share this evidence.

Dog biscuits on the same day as Trooping the Colour, though....is there some sort of subliminal message there?

Give the dog a bone?

Justine who art in heaven hallowed be thy name.....

But right now, all these debates are dwarfed by the “Royal family” thread, where dozens of people are analysing the fallout from Prince Harry’s leaked book, Spare. “He has gone after Camilla …” one user has posted – gaining 427 replies in three hours. In 60 minutes, more than 60 people are discussing “how Harry lost his virginity”. Just shy of 500 people are debating whether “Harry and Meghan realise hardly anyone supports them”.

“Ah, Meghan and Harry,” says Mumsnet founder Justine Roberts, 55, wearily. “The reaction to them actually reminds me of the Madeleine McCann story. People have extraordinarily strong and vitriolic views, way more powerful than I would expect. They are so strongly anti-Meghan we’ve had to do what we did with Madeleine McCann and cobble it into one topic because it seems slightly deranged. Ninety per cent of our content is incredibly supportive, but attention is drawn to the controversial topics, which are very active because people have very strong feelings.”

Catherine to attend event tomorrow

Ah, the Sun, a totally reputable source.

Geneva12 · 16/06/2024 12:28

@poolemoney there was also the time when Camilla was making an important speech about domestic violence. No other royal engagements had been planned that day so as not to over shadow the speech but pictures were released of Meghan making a surprise visit to the National Theatre.

Gorgonemilezola · 16/06/2024 12:30

I thought the Squaddies had vowed to mute themselves this weekend and go and do something productive out in the fresh air? That vow didn't last long.

CremeFresh · 16/06/2024 12:31

The Sun might not have the best reputation but the timings of these releases can be seen clearly on Instagram and the tv , it's not The Sun making stuff up.

TheFirmBiscuit · 16/06/2024 12:32

I have not been nor will ever be a "Squaddie", I'm just someone with too much time on my hands and bad weather outside. That said it is clearing up.

Geneva12 · 16/06/2024 12:35

Wasn't there also that time a picture of Meghan and Archie was released on Prince Louis birthday? The picture of Megan and Archie was released around the time Kensington Palace would have released Louis picture. The palace must have thought that she was going to try something as they released Louis picture half an hour later than usual.

This is old news!

Interesting how she accepted her honour bestowed. So she isn’t anti monarchy.

Justine was also critical of the GC posters on this site. History has proven she got that very, very wrong. She’s not the oracle because she owns a website.

MummyJ12 · 16/06/2024 12:48

There is absolutely a difference between a squaddie and someone who is a supporter of M&H. It’s definitely important to note.
I think supporters need to be really careful about the links they choose to post though as some of them could implicate them in the Sussex Squad by association this way.

Ah, the Sun, a totally reputable source.

Intelligent people can look beyond the source and opinion slants to the objective material contained in the article. Like dates. And verifiable events. The sad thing about her premature launch of ARO at the same time as the Diana memorial event is that she didn’t even let her own husband have his uninterrupted moment. And screwed her own brand in the haste for attention, since she had failed to produce either anything of note, or protect her IP.

Back in the 80s I went on a holiday to Florida with a group of friends and we rented a pool villa in Florida. Having plenty of time on my hands I had a selection of trashy magazines and novels to read. One was the National Enquirer that had lurid claims about Diana, bulimia, throwing herself down the stairs and such like. How we all laughed at the nonsense that American trash magazines would peddle. Turned out though that months later it was all proved to be true and from the horses mouth so to speak. I did note one user using this mag as a source of info about H&M on another thread and how often they have been right. What they didn't highlight was all the W&K stories that have been shilled as well. My point being if you start to use tabloids as a source of info you are on the road to damnation other wise you are just cherry picking stories that suit your narrative.

History hasn't shown anything of the sort.

If you were here from the outset of the debate and if you see what has happened over the last 7 or so years on MN and beyond, you will know. GC women were/are right, proven so time and time again. This is not the board for that discussion, so I will say no more. My general point about Justine’s short term opinion on hot topics is something I stand by.

Did you miss the bit about objective facts?Dates, events that happened and can be objectively considered. My advice to Ignore the opinion slant. A pattern of behaviour is obvious from my own observation, I don’t need the Sun to tell me what it is.

However, you may want to copy and paste that lecture for the next time one of the Sussex fan stalwarts cites People Magazine or the like for some positive Sussex news. I think if anyone is guilty of cherry picking tabloid news, it is they.
