What do you mean, no word on Kate? She has cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy. So she’s hardly likely to be cavorting in public.

Meghan did receive an element of poor treatment from a very small sector. All of the Royals do! I'd say Camilla had it worse than any of them!! Meghan was welcomed to the UK with fanfare and a massively expensive wedding and she threw it all back in everyone's faces. We thought our jocular and fun prince had finally met the woman of his dreams and were happy for them. But she was too grand for the Royal Family.

Kate is in the public eye because that's her role. She doesn't seek the limelight. Meghan does. If Meghan and Harry had genuinely wanted privacy, they could have had it in Montecito. But no, Meghan just has to put herself out there.

The pp was pointing out the hypocrisy of saying Meghan puts herself in the public eye, but not seeing that by marrying a future king, Kate has done that too. There’s an element of wanting fame and having an ego on anyone who chooses that life.

I’m not really interested in either Meghan or Kate, but the OP posted this here in the hope of getting people to be nasty about Meghan and lots of people here aren’t ok with that. I’m glad posters have pushed back.

There’s enough unpleasant posts about her on the Royal board. Some posters are obsessed with hating her, they have hundreds of posts about her, they’ve given her nicknames, every post they write is nasty. They don’t even know her but are unhealthily obsessed.

At this point, even if Meghan cured cancer and made world peace, she’d be doing it wrong according to some weirdos on here.

Meghan and Kate aren't remotely comparable. Kate accepted that there was a public-facing element to her role. Meghan didn't, and flounced off to Montecito. Perfect opportunity to live a private life. Only it turns out that's not what she wants either. She wants the publicity, but on her own terms, and as a way of making money.

There's been plenty of shit thrown. Maybe you should have read the threads that were so cruel to Kate before her cancer announcement.

Honestly, I find it difficult to watch interviews with Meghan/Harry without disliking them as I feel her and Harry just contradict themselves so much regarding privacy etc. and they bloody well have me rolling my eyes til my head hurts.
I'm not a royal watcher but thought it was lovely initially that Harry was doing his own thing stepping back and all that....until the complaining started....and never stopped!
I don't seek out to watch them but if I come across here I will, and sometimes get really annoyed at their moaning until I pull myself back from the ridiculous and into reality.

However, even I can't pick fault in this video. It's always awkward on a podium!!

I think you might be somewhat like me OP where she just irks you now, no matter what she does!
I'm working on that myself for the sake of loving kindness etc cause I don't want to be like that and judge etc....but man I wish they'd just shut up with the whining😂!!

M & H did flounce. I don't know how you could refute that. They didn't get the half in, half out deal they wanted so they pissed off to Canada, then California.

Your "cursory glance" will not show "hatred" but it will show the dissatisfaction that people have with the way they have behaved, which has been despicable.

I knew this thread had initially been posted somewhere else besides the RF board because of fairly reasonable posts about a woman wearing a nice dress who presented a trophy and then who moved to let another woman into the centre of a picture and then directed the lady to the centre of the picture. That particular woman on the RF board is persona non grata and so it’s really interesting when you hear of different people’s opinions sometimes. You can even tell when it got moved to the RF board by the change in the tenor of posts and by regulars becoming involved.

Just an FYI - misogynoir is a real word and has a distinct meaning to misogyny.

I also hid the RF board some time ago and so had no idea that those on there spend less time talking about flags and commemorative tea towels and more on ripping apart the appearance and every movement of a couple of people they've never met.

Good that it's now been moved back into its toxic niche but actually I wonder whether MNHQ should ask themselves whether those threads are really in the spirit of this platform. When I searched for the poster who had replied to me there were so many nasty threads about MM. I am not sure they should be encouraging it tbh.

I agree, @Runnerinthenight . I've not seen "hate" on here, but there has been criticism, and no-one is above that. H&M seemed to think they would be fêted and loved.
Their choice to leave, fine. So leave and make a life. The trouble is that the life they're leading is still a royal one, it would be better if they'd made their way without the royal stuff.

The vast majority of discussions about H&M are actually calling them out in their behaviours, not tearing apart a woman about clothing etc.
Stalking posters however is bizarre behaviour!

@FloofCloud I think you're particularly sensitive about this because of the extent and nature of your comments about MM on multiple threads which is why you keep crying foul if someone calls you out on it.

You also need to learn the difference between stalking and the briefest bit of Google research. My last comment didn't name you and was a broader point about the level of toxic hate on the RF boards about MM. Sadly there are quite a few posters who share your view. You can see by the disproportionate number of 'this comment has been deleted' posts by MNHQ which suggests that far too many people step over the boundary of acceptable free speech. I think it would be better for all of you if it were to be stopped.
