What exactly is "the Sussex Squad"?

I don't know whether this is too controversial a topic for such a thread to be allowed to stand. But I post in good faith on a topic I believe has a lot of social and political relevance.

Does the "Sussex Squad" actually exist? If so, how do you join? If not, do people ever identify as belonging to it?

If it exists, was it hijacked by SarahData and Bouzy or was it their creation? And, if so, to what extent?

Just in case you’re wondering what the Sussex squad is up to given Kate and William’s absence during the Easter school holidays, they been merrily coming up with ludicrous narratives.

William allegedly out for a drink at a local Norfolk pub with Carole earlier this week is faithfully reported as him negotiating his divorce terms with her.

And now William taking George to see Aston Villa’s Conference League match last night is apparently “proof” he negotiated custody terms with Carole successfully. And the boy next to George (possibly a friend also taken to the match? Possibly a completely unconnected child?) has of course been reported to be Rose Hanbury’s child (of whom they claim William is the father). Only we saw Oliver Cholmondeley at Charles’ coronation and can see for ourselves that the boy at the football match is not the same child.

Why let facts or even likelihood get in the way of a toxic smear campaign, though?

You know, @Serenster , it would be funny if it wasn't so unpleasant and malicious. It's one thing to constantly lie about William, but to bring an innocent child into this is beyond belief.
They're just determined to continue smearing William and Kate. What an odious campaign.

That posters here were being paid, and no longer are, makes sense to me.

Makes me mad I spent time "discussing" stuff with them.

Makes me wonder about thecsource of payment, too, if there were any payments.

what is wanted by those on Twitter and I am annoyed by myself as I’m guilty, is to spread this shit to other platforms. There is a push to get the papers to publish the rumours to give them a wider audience. In fairness to the tabloids they are not biting as some of the antagonist want (Bouzy) so I am also no longer going to repeat the crap on Twitter as I’m doing what they want. Other than saying some of them are utterly vile.

Oooohh which posters? I've seen some posters who used to post on other threads posting so maybe they aren't posting on thr RF anymore. Sont know why your mad, people can spend whatever time they like on here, they don't owe you anything.

Also don't think it's right to label them part of the Sussex squad unless it's true. Clearly that squad is on another level and I sont think anyone wants to be associated with them.

I can see why some might have stopped I too have started to think I cant be bothered if everytime I do I get asked to provide evidence like I'm in some court room or be told I am not intelligent, like I don't need to come to forum to be personally attacked.

I find the sneery comments like I can post too no matter what the weather unpalatable. I don't think it's very nice.

To turn a lovely thing like a dad taking his son to a football match into something so nasty and smear another family into the bargain is so low.
I thought the dreadful threads lying about William and Kate that were on here a few weeks ago were bad enough. The Sussex fans are really scraping the barrel though.

It just seems a bit strange that a whole phalanx of posters who have spent years and years posting dozens of times a day suddenly all disappear at exactly the same time. The same posters did exactly the same thing a few months ago - I can't remember what was going on at the time but they all went awol for a couple of weeks then arrived back again. Weird.

As for posters not being very nice, some of the absolute bilge posted about particularly Kate and William over the last few months, on here as much as anywhere else, deserves calling out. In fact if you're not calling it out, I wonder why.

I'm not sure when it was, perhaps after the publication of 'Spare', but one poster let the cat out of the bag. She said something like 'we all let you have these threads to yourselves.' Who's the 'we'? Were a group of posters coordinating 'strategy' or what?

And yes, the sudden simultaneous absence of a number of 'stalwarts' is quite intriguing.

I think when a whole bunch of formerly very regular posters all disappear simultaneously, it's difficult not to speculate. I wouldn't agree with naming names or anything, but I don't think that's what has been happening here.
