Why don't the Sussex haters be more like Kate

She's admired for her grace, strength and stoicism. Yet her supporters spew bile over H&M, Obie Scobie (or whatever he's called) and their other high profile supporters.

I don't like the way H&M have behaved towards the RF but now they're living thousands of miles away, not costing the British taxpayer a bean ... I just don't care what they do.

But the hate they inspire on this forum (couldn't sleep last night so was reading a couple of threads) is unhinged.

Why not keep it classy like Kate? Ignore em and put all that misplaced energy into living your best life (as they say)?

Kate knows about protocol and procedure and doesn't expect to be the centre of attention on all the occasions. She has been in so many high profile situations and with so many high profile people that she can always get it right. No jostling for position or awkward behaviour.

You are completely out of touch with reality. If the RF wants to carry on they need a more united front. Harry doesn't need to return to the UK for that to happen.

@eise

No, they don't. Red a united front. William
is heir to the throne, he needs to 'not out up with shit'.

Harry & his dreadful wife are not required. I'm sad about Harry, but he chose badly & turned on his family behaved despicably & let himself, his family & the country down. He made his bed.

In a newspaper several years ago I read that Prince Philip pointed out that Kate understands what the late Queen understood - that they are not celebrities, they are there to draw attention to the cause and they shouldn't look at the clicking cameras unless they are required to look at them for a formal photograph. I guess that isn't something that they realise after a while. I expect they are taught it from the start. "Try to ignore the clicks and just plough on with the job." I expect it's quite difficult to do that at the start of the job - when you're a trainee :).

It reminds me of the journalists who stand outside and shout questions at MPs going in and out of No. 10. "Wish them a good morning and then just get on with the job itself."

@upinaballoon I know that many people poo poo protocol but we are not just talking about the British Royal Family here. There are worldwide expectations in protocol, manners, whatever you call it. All cultures have it and yes I agree with you that Kate has probably had to learn it . I saw a video of the Queen and Charles entering a room on an official occasion followed by Camilla then William and Kate. This is the time that Meghan tried to gate crash ahead of Charles and they were escorted by an official to the side. Harry should have known protocol.
