I just wanted to share some thoughts I've had since talking to some RL friends last night. I'm a Republican, and didn't actually post much on any of the threads on here. But I did read them, laugh at the ones I found funny and speculated a little IRL. I enjoy robust mental health, but I feel a little sad and down today about the news. And a little guilty. It occurs to me that it might be a real source of distress to some other people. Not the big media ghouls, of course, they have no shame and will just move on to the next thing without looking back, but for those of us who bought in to the whole farrago and maybe posted things we now wish we hadn't. So remember, the media often manipulates us, the establishment often lies to us and it's actually a good thing not to immediately take what we're told at face value. Don't beat yourself up and find someone to talk to if you feel really bad about it. Take care of yourselves.

I don’t think anyone is trying to be goady but the lack of punctuation can confuse us. Especially as not everyone is from the same place or shares a native language.

20 odd pages of people posting the same rubbish. I read the last page.

There is indeed some rubbish being spouted on this thread @Carpediemmakeitcount , couldn't agree more.

spanieleyes · 24/03/2024 13:10

I'm deeply sorry, I can't help it. Please help yourself.

Hard to decipher without punctuation but I think it means:

Let them go, you don't need a royal family to be obsessed over. #Free Kate”

You missed the point of my posts that someone else understood.

What are you talking about?

You caught me out and read between the lines. I will leave you all to continue your discussion.

Suggest you stay away from Blake Lively’s IG account. It will dash your hopes and dreams if you are thinking the RF popularity is waning.

What is your actual question???
@Carpediemmakeitcount
Please explain what you are actually talking about?

guineverehadgreeneyes · 24/03/2024 13:16

"My mother had abdominal cancer they took samples to test. I don't get it."

Not all tissue can be biopsied before an operation.

For example, if a woman has a uterine mass that looks suspicious on ultrasound for leiomyosarcoma it may not be safe or possible to take samples from the mass in order to differentiate between a benign fibroid and a leiomyosarcoma because of the risk of seeding a potential cancer and because not all of the mass may contain cancerous or pre-cancerous changes. The removed mass would be tested for cancerous cells only after the uterus has been removed.

It's not known what type of operation Catherine had or what type of cancer was found after the operation or the cancer staging - it's not relevant to compare with the cancers experienced by family members or their treatments or how they looked or felt once their treatments had begun.

AliceOlive · 24/03/2024 13:16

No one cares, @Carpediemmakeitcount

Someone just got Dunning–Krugered here. A little hint, it wasn’t who you think.

jeffgoldblum · 24/03/2024 13:17

Thanks @AliceOlive !
Finally something is making sense!

Thank you for putting me straight and being kind whilst doing it. I was quick to assume.

I’d take a guess and say probably yes😁. Certainly not my type that’s for sure.

It’s not an airport, you don’t have to announce your departure. Or your change of plans, either. 😉
