Photoshoot for the Sussex Children?

1000 replies

MrsFinkelstein · 21/03/2024 16:03

I actually hope this isn't true. It's one thing I've always admired of the Sussexes, that they have (generally) protected their children's privacy very effectively.

I hope its not related to the new commercial venture.

EDEN CONFIDENTIAL: Meghan Markle has photoshoot of Archie and Lilibet

EDEN CONFIDENTIAL: The photo-shoot, at Prince Harry and Meghan's mansion in Montecito, coincided with the launch of Meghan's lifestyle and cookery brand, American Riviera Orchard.

The kids are only seen at official engagements and they have a photoshoot on their first day back at school.
they are also used as a back drop when W wants to look good, like the wishing the women's team well video.

Didn't see them in the Homewards videos. Which is a major project. He doesn’t need his children in shot to look good.

@GoonieGang love the username

@Spectre8 I agree. What right do the Royal Family have to say someone else can not release news on certain dates? None. And the forbidden dates include any birthdays of Senior Royal Family members, any key event Senior Royal Family members are undertaking, any announcement or speech by the Royal Family, and any other date they decide is inappropriate. It must cover about one third of dates in the year. It is a ridiculous pretension.

You do know the RF haven’t actually said they can’t publish on certain days don’t you?

BemusedAmerican · 22/03/2024 15:40

@Winterjoy Thank you for mentioning African Parks. Oddly enough whoever new info about that appears, more crazy articles about Kate appear.

It's what MNers say though!

Samcro · 22/03/2024 16:08

@GoonieGang its the law according to some posters on mumsnet

Samcro · 22/03/2024 16:09

@Roussette snap lol

Theunamedcat · 22/03/2024 16:15

It's not the law but it's a bit petty for people who have moved on, moved past into a bright future! with there own independent lives! to release things on days when the KNOW there will be a clash it would be like me getting married on fathers day/ex husbands birthday its going to make the kids choose like a competition someone needs to "win" more views bigger audience etc etc

it's kinda icky

BemusedAmerican · 22/03/2024 16:22

Since they now live in the US, they should be concerned about not overshadowing OUR national holidays and major events.

I don’t think there is any risk of that.

Except every day seems to clash with something. Birthdays, important speech, event, visit, foreign tour - I have seen all of these referred to as a bad time for Harry and Meghan to do anything.
The rule seems to be they should not do anything on any day that the Royal Family are doing anything, have any birthdays, release any statements or photos, or any day that may be at all memorable to a member of the Royal Family.
I do not even like Harry and Meghan but I think this insistence they do nothing on any day possible where the Royal Family do anything is laughable.

My apologies. I’m at the point where I am uncertain who is being satirical and serious these days.

Quite right. So it's a birthday of one of the extended family of the Royals and by walking the dog or going to the farmers market, Meghan is attention seeking. It's ludicrous!

Mind you we've had whole threads on the fact she holds her hand to her face in pictures, and how she held Archie in a papoose in a dangerous way, so nothing surprises me on here anymore!!

Well how would they know something is being released unless they atre still in touch with the RF and talking to them? Or are you saying they check in and find out something is being released and go ahead and do it....

Please explain how they know what KP is going to release? After all you point out they have moved on and away from the family so how do they know???

Samcro · 22/03/2024 19:07

Maybe KP need to check with them first.
😀

I’m sure we will see something any minute. It’s like this unpleasant post. Very predictable.

Maybe KP have other things to deal with right now. Have some sense of decency about making jokes about them right now.

Your expectations need to be lowered.

You know when you expect better but are disappointed?

AliceOlive · 22/03/2024 19:17

Although I’m sure no one breathed a word to Harry about this given he is completely untrustworthy. He was bad enough while his grandfather was dying of old age. Can only imagine now…

Salemforcuddles · 22/03/2024 19:18

@ArcaneWireless My expectations are very low at the moment

God the way MM is discussed on here, compared to KM is really fucking disgusting.

ArcaneWireless · 22/03/2024 19:24

salem

I hold very different views from some posters here. They mostly post something intelligent which may cause me to think about things differently.

As said. Not today. And yes it is disappointing because I always thought them more intelligent than that. I also hoped they were decent.

It is shit to see them prove you wrong.
