I actually hope this isn't true. It's one thing I've always admired of the Sussexes, that they have (generally) protected their children's privacy very effectively.

I am thinking about that. Going back, Suzanne Sommers sold thigh master on tv. She also wrote 25 books. But the world was a different place. We didn’t have endless tv to watch so the shows she was on were probably more well-known.

I agree. Plus you have to have a defined lifestyle that others want to follow with clear values and an image. I’m not sure the Sussexes have managed to achieve that, other than being connected to the RF, but not quite being the real deal in terms of lifestyle 🤷‍♀️

Martha Stewart was successful because of her accessibility. Her content was on tv so mostly free. She had wonderful, inexpensive ideas. And her products were in Kmart at a price that worked for many.

My mother still has some of her dishes, two decades later. Classic and high quality.
