Photoshoot for the Sussex Children?

1000 replies

MrsFinkelstein · 21/03/2024 16:03

I actually hope this isn't true. It's one thing I've always admired of the Sussexes, that they have (generally) protected their children's privacy very effectively.

I hope its not related to the new commercial venture.

EDEN CONFIDENTIAL: Meghan Markle has photoshoot of Archie and Lilibet

EDEN CONFIDENTIAL: The photo-shoot, at Prince Harry and Meghan's mansion in Montecito, coincided with the launch of Meghan's lifestyle and cookery brand, American Riviera Orchard.

They make it about themselves. Don’t be angry that we all clocked it.

https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-68639477.amp

I knew that would happen. They are very predictable. It's funny that they have to make a public announcement about 'reaching out' in private. It's no longer then private isn't it? Also, they used their titles but referred to the PoW, the future Queen, as 'Kate'. Never mind the disrespect in not using her title, she isn't even known as Kate by the family. Even her husband refers to her as Catherine in public. They are so petty.

Mylovelygreendress · 23/03/2024 12:37

Why did “ a spokesperson “ not issue the statement as usual rather than via Harper’s Bazaar?
Why refer to her as Kate rather than Catherine or- given they are so insistent on using Royal titles themselves- why not The Princess of Wales ?
As far a reconciliation is concerned I would imagine Charles would love that but no chance with William . And I don’t blame him.

Most puzzlingly, why did no-one edit it? Especially if it was put out by a magazine. The statement murders grammar.

Don’t forget about Meghan’s freakish attention to detail.

What a nauseating little hypocrite. OK for him to post a clock counting down the time to the announcement (and he had no idea what that was going to be) but it's all someone else's fault that he had to remove it.

'I try to shrug off lies like these' - well at least you have something in common with the RF now, Scabies.

ArcaneWireless · 23/03/2024 14:48

Well quite.

Not just about his tweet. Oh no.
He took it down because of what other people might post underneath it.

Mealie mouthed and lily livered.

He may well shrug off lies like these.

Sadly they’ve left the stain of truth fine and dandy all over him.

Oh god, yes - he'll be on Reddit defending Meghan 😂

ArcaneWireless · 23/03/2024 14:54

He just comes across as smug.

It is almost as though he has the keys to Pandora’s Box or something.

I see that the Sussexes have “ reached out”
to the Princess of Wales. I don’t know why but that phrase makes my teeth itch 😡😆

Because it's so pretentious and unnecessary.
Have her other friends and relatives said that?

ArcaneWireless · 23/03/2024 15:10

Reaching out.

A phrase that sadly suggests it is not about the person who has the reach coming their way.

From The Hill's Mark Toth who has warned about H&M's activities undermining the monarchy.

Heretofore, I’ve intentionally not commented on @KensingtonRoyal despite frequently writing about the British Royal Family in context of national security — and King Charles’ status as head of state & head of the Commonwealth.

For the past several weeks, I’ve watched in utter disgust as a young mother has been trolled, attacked and maligned by so-called nameless Sussex squad Twitter accounts — and wondered how they would personally react if the world’s town square turned on them or a beloved family member during a time of significant health crisis.

Several of my own sources I have always found credible, confirmed weeks ago to me that the Princess of Wales was undergoing a significant health crisis.
Believing in privacy, I went no further as her health condition falls outside the purview of what I cover as a journalist.

Yet her story was never about royalty let alone about a royal personage. It was solely about a woman enduring a significant health crisis — and every Twitter account that reveled in demonizing her for clicks and revenue should be ashamed.

Cancer sucks. I’ve watched close family members die of it. I’ve attended the wake and funeral of a young 11-year-old boy I helped coach and train in soccer.

You don’t have to believe in monarchy to believe in decency and human kindness.

I am under no delusion. These accounts do not care about humanity. They’ve attacked her children, her parenting decisions to prioritize raising George, Charlotte and Louis — and they have attacked her husband, the Prince of Wales, for adamantly refusing to betray her desire to keep the nature of her illness private until she and her family could process it.

Clearly, as an American, I do not believe in monarchy as the best means of governing a democratic nation. Yet, at the same time, I 💯% percent respect that this is a choice for only the British people to make — and it is none of my business what choice they make.

England is America’s closest ally — and I believe that means being as supportive as possible of the decision the British people make for themselves.
I also believe in decency — and it is sorely missing by many on this and other social media.

Godspeed to Catherine, William, George, Charlotte and Louis as they as a family face this period of uncertainty as so many other families do when cancer attacks.

Someone shared this recently - a body language analyst addresses Meghan’s silence on the Sussex Squad at SXSW. It’s quite interesting. I haven’t watched his videos before but he doesn’t have an axe to grind and doesn’t seem to discuss MM often - there’s a bit of a disclaimer at the beginning saying that anyone looking for Meghan hate/ Meghan fan videos has come to the wrong place and it’s just about the behaviour analysis. Anyway, the relevant part (about social media) begins at around the 10 minute mark.

Please stop saying what anyone outside your own head wants or thinks.

I’ll tell you what I think. They make everything about themselves.

I'll say whatever I like within guidelines. I think some of you want this to continue and based on your regular posts on here, thats a pretty good assumption. You relish it, you all do. Thats why you're here today. You love someone to beat up online. You love gossip and royal drama. Otherwise you wouldn't be here regularly. Imagine if they all made up and got along, you'd all hate that. Thats my opinion, which I am entitled to.

ArcaneWireless · 23/03/2024 15:39

Sadly everyone is entitled to an opinion.

Mymilkshakebringsallthepapstomycar · 23/03/2024 15:52

Imagine is they all made up and got along? I imagine that would rather depend on some heavy duty apologising, recanting of shitty things said in best selling tell all books and documentaries, and a complete statement of heartfelt apology, including denying racist conduct on the part of those who have been branded as such. No, I really can't imagine that ever happening, because it would take guts, integrity, honour and self reflection to do so. There have been no signs thus far that any of that is in existence.

Salemforcuddles · 23/03/2024 15:54

@StormzyinaTCup 🤣

Puzzledandpissedoff · 23/03/2024 15:58

This Bouzy guy's another one I'd never heard of, so I looked him up and see "he's an American tech entrepreneur known for founding Bot Sentinel, a Twitter analytics service that tracks disinformation, inauthentic behavior and targeted harassment"

Ironic to see these "aims" in light of his current carrying-on, but then I guess he's got to gouuge a bit of notoriety where he can while he can
