No one should ever curtsy to anyone. Actors can bow to the audience after the performance, that's it. The most despicable thing was PM (Liz Truss) pictured in an awkward curtsy. This looked medieval to me. The sooner they can abandon the curtsies and be like european monarchs who laugh about all that a bit, the better.

All cultures have ways of showing deference though. The deference is to the office, not the person.

"Apparently" there's an official announcement from the Palace coming at 6pm and all media has been briefed. Could involve a video message from KM herself but might not be happy news everyone is hoping for. To reiterate, this isn't confirmed, but how appalling if her hand has been forced because of all the conspiracy theories and the hack of her medical data.
