A papped short of the future King's alleged mistress would be very valuable but there isn't a single one...obviously protection is in place. It's not a coincidence.

@Missingprincess Why would it be valuable? There are photos of her the press can use in articles. The articles are all about - who is Rose Hanbury. So why would pap photos be worth anything when most people until this week did not even know who she is?

Why do they pap the Middleton's, Pippa, The Markels? How many papped pic of Pippa do we get cycling in London or jogging, shopping etc.. Obviously they make money. This is the future kings alleged mistress I would assume there would be a very high price for a shot of Rose. Even higher if the Earl of Chumley her husband was in it too..

Well a couple of reasons I can think of is firstly that Pippa does stuff in areas where she gets very occasionally papped - considering she has three kids and lives what seems like quite an active life she’s probably not papped the majority of the time.

I don’t seem to see any pap shots of the other Middletons or Markles on my feed. Maybe one of James just after he had his baby.

Rose lives on a private estate and I’m sure doesn’t do her own grocery shopping so she travels by car to other private places etc how would anyone ‘pap’ her easily.

We’ve seen her a couple of time when with Kate in recent years. So she’s not being hidden away by the palace.

I thought it odd there were so many photos in the DM of Pippa on holidays on St Barts a couple of weeks ago.

The DM is apparently very good at sending out a message without actually writing the real story - or so I heard here on Mumsnet.

Because (and I know this will come as a shock to some) most people don’t have a clue who Rose Hanbury is.

They do that every year or every time they go to St Barts - I think it’s just a cheap way of getting women in bikinis in the paper. And they’d prefer to have Kate in swimming costumes like Diana but she’s not doing it so Pippa is the next best thing.

I suspect the photographers stake it out just in case one year Kate has gone on holiday with her sister.

I agree most people do not know who Rose Hanbury is. That is why the articles about her tend to be titled, who is Rose Hanbury?

Apparently Rose has very good friends working in the Daily Mail & they are one of the only publications not to have a Rose article this week..

Rose worked for Michael Gove and got on well with him and his then-wife by all accounts, so she probably still has decent press contacts.

I remember seeing The Cholmondeley’s pile, Houghton Hall, on Phil Spencer’s Stately Homes back in the day (2016- so around the time of the first turnip toff articles). David Rocksavage was on it and I remember him coming across pretty well. He seemed charming ( if very posh) in my memory. The house is stunning, it makes Sandringham and Anmer look like real ugly ducklings. I can only find it on Daily Motion now- no sign of Rose, I don’t think.

@Missingprincess I’m watching it again now- and Phil Spencer asks the gamekeeper if the Prince of Wales pops around for tea! Obviously , it was a different PoW then , but it did make me stop in my tracks.
