Are Harry, Meghan, Archie and Lili coming back home?

It would be nice to have them back and getting along with the rest of the family, what do people think? They'd have to apologise and try to move forward in a positive way. With Charles being unwell and elderly, and the Wales kids too young to serve as working royals, the Sussex's may be needed. Trump may win the election, which could have a negative impact on them and Archie will start school soon, a great time to relocate home?? Apparently Meghan is looking for PR agencies to help her improve her image. Would the Uk welcome them?

Haven't you read what her mouthpiece Scrotie had to say? Listened to what she said on Oprah? etc etc!

I did watch the Oprah interview a while ago. I can't remember everything meghan said.

Did she talk about the argument with kate over how the bridesmaids dressed on Oprah? Is that what you're referring to?

All I remember her saying about kate in was the bridesmaids dresses and kate being called waity katie

Kjones27 · 08/03/2024 23:18

I think meghan seems nice.

I also think Kate seems nice.

The media probably like to stir up a rivals between them. As they did with fergie and diana

Kjones27 · 08/03/2024 23:13

OK. I shall ask no more!

What do you think about meghan personally?

I think she seems fine as a person. She had a good career. She did a lot of charity work.she is good at speeches

I think she's fine. She was well thought of by all her Suits crew and they said so a lot
Yes, she does word salad, but don't a lot of people?
I think she's good at public speaking. I like some of what she wears. I think she is good for Harry
I think she/they have handled some things wrong but do not deserve the incessant negativity about them.
One news outlet had 37 articles about her, him, both of them in a 24 hour period once
It's a multi million pound industry to hate on them

Runnerinthenight · 08/03/2024 23:21

I'm not so sure she is good for him...

skullbabe · 08/03/2024 23:21

I find people’s reaction to Meghan really interesting and shows just how much she has been monstered - in this very thread you have some of the name calling and alluding to the worse rumours available about her on social media which have been ongoing for years. People make their money on negative content about her especially on YouTube and X. There are hundreds of channels on YouTube dedicated to Meghan hate. They have been going for years with impunity except for a period of time when the worst of them were culled but they have come back smarter and more insidious.

Kate absolutely had the worst of the print press when she was dating Harry and has been subject to absolutely awful and unwarranted press. This diminished in recent years. There is no ecosystem out there currently that is dedicated to hating her - sure, there are as horrid things said about Kate as there are Meghan, but there is not a sustained, prolonged, monetised social media beast dedicated to making money off hating her.

Meghan talking about how some of the worst of the rumours affected her and how she surprised it comes from other women and the lack of empathy for this from so many here - talking about her being insincere and playing the victim is really sad. It shocks me as much as the lack of empathy from so many when Kate admitted she had HG.

Kjones27 · 08/03/2024 23:24

I think there's a lot of jealousy of meghan honestly.

I don't think so at all. She is judged on her words and actions.

That is such a thoughtful sound post

I agree.

Some of the hatred against meghan is at a level that is really surprising in this day and age.

Is it just racism? That could be part of it.
But It can't solely be down to racism.

Is it jealousy? Ie meghan gets to be a duchess and I will never be one.

But then , why aren't people jealous to the same extent of Kate?

Is it a mob mentality of people ganging up on someone?

skullbabe · 08/03/2024 23:27

It was a horrible time. Anyone who didn't loathe Meghan and/or Harry was mercilessly attacked.
There is far far more to it than that, but I will say no more

You honestly were a lone voice against the relentlessness of the negativity before so many of us got the courage to speak up and you were and continue to be attacked so much👊

Yep there was much more.

skullbabe · 08/03/2024 23:28

I guess it goes to show the strength of feeling there was when they sold out the RF?

No the threads all predated them leaving the RF - so no.

That could be some of it.

But I do think there was a bit of a "how dare she come over and take our prince" attitude aswell

Thank you. I do appreciate that. I got used to ten posters at a time coming from all sides, and at one point it greatly affected me, but that was when the other site was running too
Yes of course I could walk away but stupidly didn't, because I'm bloody minded and didn't want to feel forced off.
I handle it better now by disappearing if it gets too much

Runnerinthenight · 08/03/2024 23:36

I wanted to be positive to Meghan and Harry. I thought Harry was a great guy and I was delighted to meet him.

When they gave that interview to Bradbury though, I started to think "wtf?" It was so self-centred and so self-serving in the face of the poverty and deprivation they were in the midst of. It only went from bad to worse after that.

skullbabe · 08/03/2024 23:45

Many people won’t think they have made Meghan a pantomime villain but a really clear example is something people use as of Meghan being horrible and cruel to Kate is her talking about how horrible people have been and are to women coming into the RF and how there was an extra dimension in her case when it came to race. When asked to clarify by Oprah- she mentioned Waity Katie when it came to Kate as something that had been said that she was thought was awful and uncalled for. In this very thread, her empathy with Kate and agreement that the way Kate was characterised was terrible, has been switched to her using it as a purposeful insult. It’s amazing to see.

Runnerinthenight · 08/03/2024 23:48

It wasn't empathy towards Kate! It was a reminder to the public at large of a cruel insult that was aimed at Kate before she and William got married! It was so distasteful to bring that up again!

How exactly is waity katy cruel?

It's stupid. Amd made up by the press as they love a rhyming nickname

But I don't think it's cruel. It's not insulting her personally.

Kjones27 · 08/03/2024 23:57

The duchess of pork, written about sarah ferguson, was a far worse insult. Than waity katie

Did you watch the interview? Megjan actually talked about the "waity katie" think very sympathetically anyway.

skullbabe · 09/03/2024 00:00

Look I think it was mean to call Kate that by the press. But using that as an example
of meanness towards Kate by Meghan hardly her calling her an insult and a stretch and an real example of how uncharitable people are to her.

Kjones27 · 09/03/2024 00:02

"Waity Katie" doesn't even make any sense as an insult.

The British press just wanted a rhyming headline for their newspapers.

Lots of couples are in relationships for ten plus years before they get married. Or they never get married

There are many things like this in pop culture that Meghan did where it’s apparent that many people repeating them haven’t watched/read/listened to the source material in context.

skullbabe · 09/03/2024 00:04

I agree. I thought she was warm about Kate

And yet so many people will insist she attacked her . It’s so bizarre.

Enko · 09/03/2024 00:14

Camilla was hated when Charles and Diana divorced a PR campaign slowly sorted thst out.

Yes I think they could return but it is a slow slow move
