Great news, HRH Princess Kate seen in public today

The press has published pics of HRH with her mum in mum Audi on a
"school run." HRH was seated in the front passenger seat.

The photos most definitely weren't taken by unauthorised paparazzi if they're backgrid ones. That's means they're most definitely authorised as they'll have been arranged with Kate/her team.

@Pron 'I'm a Super Recogniser.' Look, I'm sorry, I know this has nothing whatsoever to do with your point, and I'm just being a stickybeak, but I found this awfully intriguing. I have read the Peter Robinson books how about his character Superintendent Banks' friend, Zelda, who is a super recogniser. Have you read them? Is that how it works? I found it completely fascinating.

I'm a Rubbish Recogniser (there's two categories of us- one category is exceptional at recognising rubbish, the second is rubbish at recognising people, I'm the latter) and I still thought it was Kate

Link to Town and Country mag who published the article I quoted from. The article states ‘Today, Kate was photographed for the first time, in new paparazzi pictures taken by Backgrid (and published on TMZ); T&C understands the photos were not authorized.’

There are several news sites carrying this story and photos, and all say that the photos were not authorised by the palace.

Major surgery on the abdomen is hugely invasive and takes a long long time to get over.

I had a hysterectomy. The most invasive there is. When I spoke to the gynaecologist about how long it would take to recover, he told me a long time. When I said surely not as bad as major heart surgery, he told me mine would take longer to recover than the average major heart surgery. It took me 5 months to really feel any strength.

It’s definitely her. I’m hazarding a guess based on experience that she’s on steroids during her recovery. She’s got classic ‘moon face’.

I had half my pancreas removed and ducts re plumbed, so also a major surgery and I was in hospital 21 days, 14 in high dependency. At the same point as Kate is now I was still unable to drive or even walk up straight. I went back to work at 4 months but I was no where near recovered but it was a desk job and I was part time then. I feel for Kate as there’s been nmany rumours circulating which are largely ridiculous. Probably be another month until we see her in her royal role yet.

I'm the opposite of a super recogniser. I dinner in a restaurant next to Mark Ruffalo and it took me two years before I recognised him on the telly : )

I don’t think there’s any great news in someone being papped around the timing of the school run tbh.

Or, if they did feel the need to stage it, there’s zero great news in that either imo given they were very clear in the original announcement that she’d be away from public engagement until Easter. Yet somehow that wasn’t clear enough for people.

Turns out this saga is what it takes for me to feel immense sympathy for the royals. God love her.

So it's the school run, after dropping off the kids? Or on the way to get them? If the latter surely they would have tailed the car. All very odd , and I have no idea what is the truth but it doesn't look like Kate to me ( full disclosure - not a super recogniser) looks more like Pippa ( the wide jaw).

She's not called HRH Princess Kate, she is not a princess in her own right. She is HRH The Princess of Wales, her title is as the wife of William.

That does not look like Kate Middleton, definitely much more like Pippa. The hairline is wrong and the face is quite different. Unless she's had cosmetic surgery.

What happened to the agreement that the press were not to intrude on the school run?
