That's a really good point actually, I'd never thought health might be a factor. It's never bothered me though, I think being a hands on parent and breaking the cycles of previous generations of royals leaving the kids to the nannies is good. As I've said a number of times across threads, Kate and William don't get to retire until he dies - that's a long way off, we hope; so a few years of making sure the next generation is prepared for what is to come, with a solid and emotionally secure upbringing, is not, in the overall scheme of things, "work shy". Once again, all the naysayers forget that he is as much a product of the trauma of his mother's death as his brother. His putting his kids first instead of putting stuff up his nose to cope is, for some reason, deemed to be terrible, and I really don't understand why.
