Surprised no thread yet.

Good on them for being open about it.

And why on earth have we been notified of this?

Yep

@pilates @FirstFallopians very unpleasant indeed. They went over and over her medical records, discussing and analyzing it. They didn't spare her when she'd just had her babies or suffered mental health challenges either.

The RF didn't ever bother to issue a statement asking for respect, kindness or privacy for her or her children either. As I said earlier, some are more worthy of protection and fairness than others. People who support this type of behaviour are evident on here calling names and raining abuse because their precious "she who must not be criticized" doesn't deem them worthy of knowing what their tax payer money is funding. They feel worthless and undeserving, finding their worth in being subjects.

Are you going to tell us what allegedly happened at the end of December?

Yep

Normal practice for when the monarch is admitted to hospital/ Stops speculation.

Normal stay for the likely prostate procedures is between 1 and 3 nights. IIRC, they need to check that you are peeing OK before they let you out.

Yep

Well apparently the NHS page on prostate enlargement has received a 60% increase in visits since the King announced this on Wednesday and Prostate Cancer UK received 2754 visits compared to 1703 on the same day the previous week. So if the intention was to raise awareness that this can happen to anyone, it appears to be working

That's really good 👍

No time to read all the posts but do we know yet who “they” are who - allegedly- went through M’s medical records ? Are they now in jail ?

Same ones who - allegedly - took her passport and car keys. It's not known if they gave a sinister laugh and said 'You won't be needing THESE any more, my pretty!' as they left the room.

Yet she was still able to go on holiday.....

Echoes of Charlene here, just before she had to marry Prince Wassisssname of Monaco.

WinnieTheW0rm · 26/01/2024 10:18

Reported today that he's gone in for the procedure

Maybe we'll get an update later today on how it went

mrsmingleton · 26/01/2024 11:04

Best wishes to Charles today and wish him a speedy recovery.

justasking111 · 26/01/2024 13:20

He'll be fine but ouch it's painful. Catheterised for a time, then urge incontinence. But it passes

BBC have just announced that Charles has cancer - though apparently not of the prostate

Yes discovered while they treated it. His prostate has done him a favour I guess.
