I'm quite puzzled by the apparent perception amongst Prince Harry's supporters that, if you don't support everything he does, you must be frothing and hysterical. Do they not accept that it's possibly to hold a different opinion perfectly genuinely and after mature consideration?
I was team Harry-and-Meghan for quite a long time. I thought Meghan came over as, potentially, an intelligent woman who could contribute a lot to the Royal Family and the UK. The fact that she is mixed race is nothing but a bonus. I was concerned about the way she was being demonised by idiots like Morgan and racist Mail and Express readers, and when they decided to get out I thought Fair enough, after what happened to Diana I could see their thinking.
However, Harry's behaviour subsequently has unfortunately turned that around. I've really been put off by the whole millionaire "poor me" narrative, the business of wanting the advantages of royalty without the duties and restrictions, moaning about how Daddy isn't subsidising his £10m dollar mansion, moaning about the Press whilst milking the publicity wherever he goes, blatant monetising of his mother, and all the obvious lies and uncorrected errors in his book. No amount of "But Andrew ..." changes that. I'm not frothing, I'm just deeply unimpressed. ?And I can see why an elderly woman wasn't too keen on her recently deceased husband's pet name for her being annexed to the Archewell profit initiative.
