Prince Andrew Was Lying (and Sweating) From The Start, Wasn't He?

TallerSally · 04/01/2024 14:50

So now we have it, the abject and in all likelihood criminal behaviour of Prince Andrew, still titled Duke of York and still eighth in the line of succession to the British throne, laid out for all to see.

Settled out of court as part of a grotesque cover-up.

Still denying knowing Virginia Giuffre, and presumably Johanna Sjoberg whose breast he allegedly fondled, who are undoubtedly the tip of the iceberg of the girls Prince Andrew and his paedo friend Jeffrey Epstein abused.

Still protected by Buckingham Palace who have gone out of their way to state the accusations as "categorically untrue", as if anyone believes them.

Still supported by the British Royal Family who seem desperate to "rehabilitate him" (and his grifter ex-wife), still living in a Royal Palace presumably at taxpayers expense (i.e. Grifter in Chief), still prancing around at official functions, still oozing a sense of arrogant entitlement, with no-one including King Charles having any sense of courage or moral rectitude to deliver to make him face the consequences of his repugnant actions.

Still being defended by the royal palaces briefing operations and the British media, and by those at ease with shameful double standards on various boards, including this one, who are happy spending their time posting 100'000+ messages a year attacking Meghan and Harry while turning a blind eye to a likely real criminal.

No amount of covering-up will ever rehabilitate Prince Andrew. All it'll do is drag the royal family further down in the esteem of folks with any sense of decency.

I agree that it's so sad to see posters being over backwards to justify grooming and trafficking of young women for the vile pleasure of powerful men.

But the question in my mind now is... how much do the royal family know? How do they feel about Andrew?

Has Charles ever asked him directly if he had sex with the trafficked girls? I can see Charles (having been raised in a bizarre, alien world) lacking the moral fibre and integrity to question his brother and act accordingly.

How about the younger generation? His daughters must be disgusted. Prince Wiliam, our future King - what does he know? How does Kate feel about putting up with this particular uncle during family ocassions?

There are 3 options:

they don't know what Andrew actually did because they are all too weak and twisted to ask
they know he is innocent and are happy to watch the speculation and mudslinging and damage to the monarchy and the country's reputation
They know he is guilty and are okay with harbouring an offenders just in case it rocks the boat

All the options show a weak family and a failing institution.

The propaganda in the uk has been subtle in the past ( the most effective kind). We are one of the most propagandised populations in the world . Most people accept the official line .

’Royal’ propaganda is much more obvious now - I don’t think they know what to do . William had to film his burger flip in a closed set . What does that tell you ?

I think the propaganda the Royal Family enjoys is downright sinister at times, the cult of personality resembling that of North Korea. Despite this, in the current media saturated world the shortcomings of some individual members are increasingly hard to hide and frequently are painfully obvious.

I happen to think that William and Kate are real problems for the RF. Now that Harry has left, their uncle has been disgraced and Charles/Camilla are not particularly popular, a lot is riding on them but neither of them comes across particularly well in public. Neither has any solidly successful project or achievement, and they are undoubtedly lazy; just over 130 engagements by Kate in the whole of 2023 (bearing in mind that things like church services and even phone calls count as 'engagements'.

I feel mean writing that and a part of me feels sorry for them, but I then remember their vast privilege and wealth - an estate worth around £1 billion inherited by William, inheritance tax free of course - and I stop feeling sorry. None of this is good enough any more, if it ever was.

@DewinDwl , that's the million dollar question.

I can't imagine how I'd feel if my father was wanted by the FBI for multiple rapes of minors. But then I'm not a member of the British royal family, who as we know are motivated first and foremost by maintaining their position and unbelievable privileges, and view anything that jepoardises this as an existential threat.

I suspect they know that Andrew did it. And all they're focused on is how to contain the damage, sweep the whole thing under the carpet as fast as possible with a barrage of photos and stories - it's started already.

They may have some trouble doing that this time, though. Apparently there are claims and counter-claims about video footage of Prince Andrew raping minors... Whether or not this turns out to be true, the FBI clearly have evidence implicating Prince Andrew, and I suspect they're not under any obligation to seal files until we're all dead... maybe someone will leak them?

Newly-unsealed Jeffrey Epstein documents have revealed bombshell allegations about sex tapes involving Bill Clinton, Prince Andrew and Richard Branson.
In a trove of 2016 emails sent by Epstein victim Sarah Ransome – sections of which were included as exhibits in one of the filings unsealed on Monday – she claimed that an unnamed friend “had sexual intercourse with Clinton, Prince Andrew and Richard Branson” on separate occasions.
She claimed that these encounters had been filmed by Epstein – and that she herself had later seen the sex tapes.

Do the tapes show minors, though? That's not clear to me from the reports. It's not entirely clear if they actually exist at all, either, although of course they may.

Tallersally - In 2019 Ransome admitted that there were no tapes and that she had made it up. It's lies like that which won't help the victims of Epstein.

Anyhow, this isn't anywhere near over yet. As I mentioned, someone, somewhere, will leak.

Having read that, I did question why we had never heard from the person who had the tapes and who was abused by Branson and Clinton, I never realised she admitted a few years ago that she made it up. Fucking shocking.

Alalain · 08/01/2024 19:29

I will admit, I am anti Royalist and would say I am an Andrew and York 'hater'. However I would like to say I am a moderate in general terms, and hope I can somewhat comprehend both sides of where and why the loyalties of both Royalists and anti Royalists lay. But this whole Epstein thing and now the discrepancies is beyond me. Dershowitz being exonerated, lies about Branson etc. Who knows what to believe anymore.

2dogsandabudgie · 08/01/2024 19:33

Epstein is 'suicided' and Maxwell is in jail, if those tapes exist there is no reason anymore to keep them hidden, those tapes would be worth MILLIONS upon MILLIONS to the person who has them. The more that is being released the less sense it is making.

alltootired · 08/01/2024 19:51

What actually happened.

"An alleged victim of Jeffrey Epstein claimed in newly unsealed emails that she had copies of blackmail videos that the deceased financier took of his associates.
Sarah Ransome made the claims in emails that were unsealed on Monday alongside other documents connected to Virginia Giuffre’s 2015 lawsuit against former Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell, as details about Epstein’s sex-trafficking operation continue to trickle out.
“When my friend had sexual intercourse with [redacted] and [redacted], sex tapes were in fact filmed on each occasion by Jeffrey,” the email claimed. “Thank God she managed to get ahold of some footage of the filmed sex tapes which clearly identify the faces of [redacted] and [redacted] having sexual intercourse with her. Frustratingly enough Epstein was not seen in any of the footage but he was clever like that.”
In the same email, she also claimed that her friend sent her the footage, which implicated the men who had allegedly had sex with her friend. Ransome, who released a book about her experience, said that she would be willing to testify in court over the videos’ validity.
“I will be more than willing to swear under oath and testify in court over these sex tapes,” she said. “It will break your heart into a million tiny pieces Maureen when you watch this footage.”
She added that she had backed up copies of the videos on USB sticks, which she had kept hidden at undisclosed locations throughout Europe. Ransome said that she told one individual where to find the evidence, “in case anything happens to me before the footage is released.”
She went on to claim that her friend had gone to the police and had been “humiliated” before a redacted entity “heavily intimidated her, roughed her up,” and made her promise secrecy. In the following paragraph, Ransome said her friend was “1000% certain that the FBI did a cover-up” and that a redacted name had threatened to kill her.
It is unclear when this email was written, but it appears to have been written to New York Post reporter Maureen Callahan. In other emails from October 2016 to Callahan, Ransome claims that she had reached out to Russian authorities to publicize her story, that the U.S. government refused to help her, that her fiancee’s life was in danger, and seemed to suggest that the CIA had hacked her emails.
However, in an October 23 email, she wrote back to Callahan claiming that she would “like to retract everything I have said to you and walk away from this.” She said she believed that it didn’t pay for her to come forward because bad things would happen to her. Her email concluded, “I wish you the best of luck on catching Epstein and company.”"

And he travelled all over the globe going to the best golf courses in the world on the taxpayers tab whilst a 'Trade Envoy'

Yep.

This too.

He made mugs of all of us in that made-up role and yet the only concerns her dutiful majesty expressed were in relation to Epstein.

alltootired · 08/01/2024 19:56

And it is clear there was a grooming gang made up of rich men and a few women. And that young girls and women were trafficked and raped.
It is also clear that Andrew openly lied in his TV interview where he was trying to defend himself and I think it is clear to most that he is guilty.

alltootired · 08/01/2024 20:00

@CathyorClaire most of Andrew's Royal Family official engagements involved playing a round of golf at a Royal golf club and a dinner or reception afterwards. It was quite clear he was only doing things he really enjoyed. And for this he was paid.

Exactly and it is shocking this is covered up and accepted.

A cash gift towards a wedding, WTF. Loans and debt paid off by some randoms, Chalet in Switzerland purchased but not paid for, a multimillion home in Mayfair bought by 'broke' Sarah Ferguson.

The Gravy Train on speed.

Intriguing...

The abrupt retraction suggests some behind the scenes shenanigans... perhaps some money changed hands?... or perhaps some threats were made?

One thing we can be certain of: the FBI aren't after Prince Andrew based on a few retracted claims about videotapes.

Andrew and Sarah in particular, are the very definition of f*ing grifters.

Not just an embarrassment for the Royal family, they are a national embarrassment.

Let's hope the next time they show their faces for a public walkabout, they are met with a few posters with recent news headlines, to remind them that we are not all star-struck, complacent, docile cult members.

Is the FBI still waiting to question PA?

I’ve not read anything to the contrary.

If the FBI is still requesting PA turn up to be interviewed, why doesn’t he just get it over and done with once and for all, answer any questions the FBI have, and clear his name, finally?

🤷‍♀️

LittleTeawithmilk · 09/01/2024 01:10

Gloria Allred opinion -as written in The Telegraph.
**
“Gloria Allred, another lawyer who has represented Epstein’s victims, on Saturday said Prince Andrew has “got a lot of explaining to do” and should speak with US law enforcement about his interactions with the paedophile financier.
**
Allred said that until the Royal co-operates with police, the FBI and other authorities, there will be “a cloud that follows him wherever he goes. It’s a dark cloud” that questions whether Andrew “told the truth” about his relationship with Epstein in his Newsnight interview.
**
“It is very unusual that law enforcement have publicly said they would like to speak with Prince Andrew and that he has not done that,” she said.
**
“Usually they would contact his attorney privately and that would be it. Law enforcement would not say something publicly. To the best of my knowledge Prince Andrew still hasn’t done an interview with them.
**
“Now he is back in the news, as they would say in the southern part of the U.S, ’I think he has got a lot of explaining to do’.”
**
She added: “The only question is why he is not willing to do that?”
**
Allred said that Andrew could not claim he could not do anything to help the investigation as it was “not for him to decide” what was relevant.
**
“He’s admitted to staying as a visitor and guest at Epstein’s mansion in New York. There seems to be some allegation he was in Florida as well with him.
**
“So yes he has got information. If he even stayed there for a matter of days, he has information. What were young girls doing there?
**
“If he knows. Maybe he doesn’t? He should say what he knows or what he doesn’t? He cannot be compelled to speak to authorities if he doesn’t wish to speak to them.”
**
She then questioned his decision to speak with Newsnight to clear his name, but then duck official legal probes.
**
“He didn’t seem to have any problems speaking to the BBC, but that was not under oath...He does not have a legal duty to tell the truth when he is on the BBC.
**
“One assumes that people will tell the truth when they speak to the press, but they don’t have a legal duty to do it.”

I think it's the 3rd one. It is clear from.their behaviour towards Harry and their public withdrawal of Andrew and private endorsement of him thst the only thingvthat matters is their continuing existence. They will do what they have to to not rock the boat but loyalty to the family is all.
