Honestly I think the fact they spoke to the president and were in Jamaica was more incidental., and no one really cares. More they were at a rather random film premier as they were majorly hoping to try to convince the ceo of paramount to give Megan a job. Random as in it wasn’t about the film or the location, more about the ceo of paramount/nickleoden.

its a long way to go to try to get a few mins with that guy, which likely indicates how little they have going on, and how desperate they are to get work.

It is interesting I admit to see them hobnobbing with the CEO of Paramount when they have a contract with its streaming rival. And in relation to a production they had absolutely nothing to do with.

First off - I like the dress, or skirt and top.

Second - I hope they move to Jamaica. The country would be ditching the horrid rf with all its horrible history and getting… Prince Harry and Princess Meghan ! (although they might want to take a quick look at the financials like 24-hour security and the polo team and Meghan’s wardrobe and the staff and the private jets….)

Yes that’s an interesting point, it likely confirms Netflix is out. Possibly paramount offered when they left the uk a few years ago , and they declined and went to Netflix, so they are trying their luck now, see if they can get back in.

it is weird though. The fact they’d fly all the way to Jamaica to attend this, says they had an ulterior reason to go. I really doubt it’s as they are huge super fans of bob Marley and just couldn’t wait to see the movie.😂

Ugh I hope at least they are doing other business or having a holiday because that’s a 7 hour flight to watch one movie, so wasteful. And unlike William & the women’s world cup their absence from the Bob Marley Movie premiere would not have been noted!! Nobody would have said “but where’s Prince Harry??”

It is hard not to think their whole raison d'etre is going to events and being photographed. Even with Harry's trauma around photographers. It is very vacuous because there is no solid platform.

Meghan has done all kinds of things before her Suits role - things that all wannabe actors do - the suitcase girl, calligraphy , teaching classes blah blah. It is the nature of the work. She has been there , has done it and knows the score unlike Harry who had everything handed to him on a plate. This is second nature to her I imagine - would turn up to the opening of an envelope and this is what they have to do now in this life they have chosen. I'm not sure though that Harry has quite cottoned on to that yet.

He is certainly loving showing it off in a "Hazz" style. M dressed up in a ballgown type outfit and him with a cord hanging round his neck and shirt undone.

If you think about it though, if they did go all that way to ger a chance to try to pitch the ceo of paramount, it shows how far they have fallen that they couldn’t get a meeting with him otherwise.

alternarively they’ve already signed for something with paramount and agreed to go, as no other big names wanted to, and paramount wanted some publicity for the movie, which let’s be honest, them being there, has provided it .

Meghan married on a beach in Jamaica originally so will bring back some memories for her.

Hob-nobbing with a bunch of Americans from the US film industry, at a film premiere where the PM is there to celebrate a film about the country's most famous son, is nothing like the diplomatic complexity and political significance that a visit from the head of state's representatives entails. Why he expects anyone to take seriously his ruminations on the RF/Commonwealth/politics is beyond me.

But yeah, maybe the PM will have a cosy chat with Meghan about her drug fuelled first wedding in Jamaica, a nice trip down memory lane for all; he must be proud that his country was used by Americans to rock up and carry out illegal activity whilst the local workforce was supposed to look the other way.

That is exactly what I thought - feel sad that this is the direction they have chosen.

Meghan looks nice in those photos. I do think that a lot of the reason faces can look different on camera are to do with make up and lighting, not necessarily tweaks.

Omid needs to stop with the fan mean girl tweeting, he isn't doing them any favours and just comes across as unpleasant. I don't believe that he is their spokesman but because of the books and the court evidence it is assumed he speaks for them by many and in that case he needs to dial down the bitching and post positive stuff to help rather than harm their image.

Yes - at least when he was in the RF he could claim it was forced on him as part of his job/duties. Now it just seems outrageously hypocritical. Do they think we don't notice?

I suppose they're both just desperate for something to keep them in the public eye but they don't seem to be making good judgments on this.

(Tbh, I'm surprised there hasn't been an announcement of some kind of health problem - as they try to match-step with the RF on practically everything else. But I guess there's still time!).

Meghan is certainly a very attractive woman but my favourite pic of her is the one just after Archie was born where she is less slender. Her face just glows on that one. It looks totally natural, fresh, young and more individual than the standard samey look that Hollywood women seem to aspire to.

I think she looks lovely before but her face is now very smooth, taut. I’m sure she’s had her eyes done, but it could be a face lift and maybe her nose,
