Recently spotted at a TSwift (allegedly), Barbie movie for her birthday, a restaurant, and then hanging out with friends in an Instagram selfie. She looks phenomenal in this photo!

Glad to see she's enjoying her life back home with her family.

Kate was like a goddess in that golden gown

And yet you respond to my comments!

Do make up your mind.

I am more than happy to leave you be, if you leave me be. And that includes not coming to hound me on any threads I start.

Deal?

Oh Kate always looks good for red carpet evening events - she’s tall and thin so most evening gowns are designed for her figure. Always pulls the stops out.

and when we get a rare “off duty” pap shot of her, she looks good in the “Barbour and Boden” way.

but it’s the day time work events that Kate seems to struggle with, she just frequently looks like she’s dressed as mother of the groom. It’s all a bit safe and dull, and so far removed from being aspirational clothing or work wear. She often stands out because no other woman is dressed like her (even at daytime events with woman with similar budgets).

I had assumed it was deliberate to make her look different and more “Queen like”. She’s never going to be a fashion trend setter though. Meghan, on the other hand, dresses like she’s panic picked from what she already has in her wardrobe. (As a fellow woman who “feels the cold” I do think you all need to back off about wearing something snuggly when the air temperature might be high but there’s the risk of a nasty wind getting the back of your neck. Nowt wrong with layers)

AuroraCake · 25/09/2023 10:06

I think Meghan herself would say she didn’t ‘fit.’ I have no idea if for a time personal relations were fine but to be a member of the royal family is to be resolved to a certain amount of self abnegation. Don’t have an opinion. Only do certain type of work. Get pulled apart for everything you do. Have all of lives hugely personal moments be feed up for national ownership. Some people are better at it than others.

@Samcro the story about the school in Harlem is in all the tabloids. Before you all snort it is based on emails between the Archewell team and the school.

Serenster · 25/09/2023 10:16

Someone outing themselves as a habitual reader (and believer) of the out and out fantasist, deeply misogynistic hate site Celebitchy, on which any commentator who expresses any scintilla of an opinion contrary to the groupthink is promptly banned, is…quite the admission. Says a lot.

boxedandribboned · 25/09/2023 10:24

@Serenster Says a lot.

Doesn't it just!

Novella4 · 25/09/2023 10:30

Much better to stick to the state sanctioned ‘royal’ PR isn’t it ?
Some people need deprogrammed .
Read widely if you want to get anywhere near the truth

The contrast and what they don’t say is where the interest is

Oh yes, @Serenster

I am aware you have been trying to find a" gotcha" for some time now, since our contretemps over Harry's case, but you won't find it here.

I am happy to confess that I am a regular, and even avid, reader of Celebitchy. So no, I have not "outed" myself.

And of the Daily Mail. And the Express. And The Sun.

And the Reddit hate group from which more than a few here get their talking points.

I watch YouTube conspiracy videos too, especially those featuring the Markles.

I believe I have said that I have two research interests:

The press coverage of Meghan. Which is how I ended up here, by the way.

And the second is to look at white hate groups that target four famous black women, including Meghan. Which is also how I ended up here!

So yes, I read the royal news thread on Celebitchy. I am an equal opportunity reader!

"deeply misogynistic hate site Celebitchy"

hmmm.... one might just as easily say EXACTLY the same about these RF boards on MN

Only reason someone here might want to put off others from going on Celebitchy is because the views there are mostly unashamedly anti-RF and pro-H&M... which of course, must mean they must be disregarded in their entirety.

Celebitchy is totally politically incorrect, but hilarious! Should be part of any Royal watcher's repertoire...

Oh I do Novella, I do. Which is quite helpful in weeding out the total fantasy on all sides!

Actually I’d be far more likely to say go and read it, so you can see quite what kind of site it is. The people who read it and believe it are up there with the tinfoil hate wearing brigade who claim the Sussex children don’t exist as far as I’m concerned - they are the other side of the same toxic coin.

Serenster · 25/09/2023 10:55

Find me anywhere I’ve ever expressed anything other than contempt for Paul Burrell. - go on!

Celebitchy is a such riot.

They always talk about Harry and Meghan "looking happy" and "moisturised". It's one of the blink and you will miss it cultural references: if you grew up with a black mother you would know all about being hectored into moisturising your skin.

And what's funny is that yes, they do look happy, glowy and moisturised. The others? Not so much!

Incidentally, the moment I believed the white Markles were exaggerating how they raised Meghan is listening to Meghan and Mariah Carey chew the fat over Pink Hair Lotion. Only a person who grew up in a black household knows all about Pink! Give it up for Doria!

😁
