No great surprise there... Would love to hear his story about Zooming Prince Harry, I can only imagine his frustration with the whining ninny!

Very wrong to say Meghan is a violent person. How low can people go in their dislike of her?

This is hair trigger sensitive reading stuff in where it wasn't. No one said she was 'a violent person'.

What was said by @EllaRaines was

She strikes me as the kind of person who would make a fuss of a cat when the cameras are on her, all smiles and fussing over the cat and then when the camera has stopped rolling and the door is shut, the smile turns into a scowl and the cat gets booted up the arse.
Replace the word cat with Harry and that's about right.

What is being said is that she is the type of person to present a perfect and pleasant face to the world, and behind closed doors be an entirely different. It doesn't mean she literally kicks the cat or kicks Harry. It's more metaphorical as is obvious.

I think there is a lot of objective evidence to suggest she is exactly that type of person.

To start with it is the hall mark of a narcissist - lovebombing followed by devaluation, criticism, verbal abuse. So much of her behaviour fits with that profile - not least the speed with which she got involved with Harry and progressed to engagement and marriage combined with isolating him from his friends and family again with speed. To be fair, it's very impressive. No one would ever think it would be possible to get a Prince of England to emigrate to America, abandon his working royal role and essentially cut off relationships with his brother and father.

Then there are the numerous examples of people she was 'buddy buddy' with who when it didn't suit her are totally cut off. Again, narcissistic indications - lots of 'former friends' have given interview of this type - most obvious recent example is the Canadian stylist who was a central part of her wedding, went on tour with her but is now totally cut off because she herself was cancelled.

The way she treated her father is extraordinary and the lies/reinvention told about her life with him. She was living with him and there are lots of home videos that have been published showing how close they were.

then there is the gross disrespect that has been displayed to the Royal
Family and the Queen even when Prince Phillip was reaching the end of
his life.

then there are the various situations in which she has been reported to be unpleasant and difficult - re the wedding, apparently insisting on going to see the dying Queen when she wasn't wanted,

All of which are totally different to the public face of this nice, sweet, treated-terribly-by-all-you-racist-media, philanthropic godess.

So it's not that much of a leap to say this is someone who is the type (note the type) of person who cuddles the cat in public but is mean to it in private.

It's certainly a legitimate opinion and not at all the same as saying she is a violent person.

Completely agree with this summary. Very well put.

I agree also @Wherestheheatwave

SunbathingDragon · 19/06/2023 22:42

Dior have denied the rumours.

How do you know any of this though? that she love bombs and then criticises etc what are you on about? you've just made that up from nothing?

I don't know she love bombs & criticises. I was saying this is a hall mark of a narcissist. You misunderstood what I was saying.

  1. Someone said they thought she was the type of person who would cuddle a cat in public and be mean in private.
  2. That type of behaviour is typical of a narcissist - charming public face, unpleasant behind closed doors to those who can't easily leave (children, husbands, partners, parents, close relatives, subordinate employees). Lovebombing and subsequent devaluation are well known narcissistic indicators.
  3. There is a quite a lot of evidence to suggest she is a narcissist. The isolation of Harry at speed is an absolutely classic trait. The treatment of her 'friends' - one minute a best friend/next utterly cut off is another one. There are so many examples of this over time that it again suggests this devaluation narcissists are prone to.
  4. So therefore is it not that 'out there' to think she was the type of person who would be one thing in public, and another face (unpleasant) in private.

"Someone said they thought" 🤣 um yeah sounds plausible 🙄
Can't believe you're suggesting she kicks cats in private. Smh. Have a word to yourself.

I'm sorry that's awful!

The thing is if they don't talk about the RF what are they going to talk about??

This is true.

Was the rumor about Meghan not interviewing everyone herself for Archetypes, then having her voice dubbed in already mentioned?

A show editor has responded that producers did ask questions but their voices remained and that Meghan voice was not dubbed over.

LadyMuckingabout · 20/06/2023 08:35

I am not one to defend M&H, but, in this case, could it be that Meghan wanted to do the interviewing, but was deemed not to be skilled enough? eg Natalie Wood was very disappointed when her singing was dubbed over in West Side Story because although she could sing, she couldn’t sing well enough.

Interviewing/chatting with questions is quite difficult, and to leap right in with no experience would likely result in a bit of an amateurish show. Thus it had to be “improved”.

The Mail are running the story that Meghan’s voice was later inserted. The headline even has the word ‘faked’ in it.

I don’t know if it’s ‘faked’ though as such - isn’t it spliced?

However, if the publicity and ‘sleeve notes’ make claims that a guest was interviewed by Meghan and they weren’t (as opposed to saying ‘appears on Meghan’s show’) then that is misleading.

She interviewed some guests like Mindy Kaling (there's a photo of them recording the interview) and I think she would have met Serena, Mariah and Sophie Trudeau.
One of the guests thanked the producer for interviewing her for Archetypes in an Instagram post.

I agree that faked is the wrong word. One of the producers already divulged this in a TikTok video a few months ago so it's not really news but they are repeating what another site said so that they can get the easy clicks.

AutumnCrow · 20/06/2023 10:21

Couple of comments:

The byline on that piece is 'Charlie Lankston for Dailymail.com' which is the US arm of the MailOnline.

I've said before, much of the worst stories and gossip about the Sussexes comes out of the US, with many 'sources' established in LA. Meghan's own talent agency isn't helping with the bragging about 'offers flooding in including other platforms', while the Dailymail.com in the US see that as an immediate challenge.

MysteryBelle · 20/06/2023 10:24

Boulshired · 20/06/2023 07:44

It’s no mystery. Meghan interviewed only ‘important’ and famous people like Serena Williams and Mariah Carey etc. She didn’t lower herself to interview the little people who were fillers between the important ones. It is very obvious why she didn’t take the time to interview the no names. No direct benefit to her.

MarcelProust · 20/06/2023 10:34

The people they are talking about are on the 'specialist' segment. They are giving talk points as people who know about the subject.

Meghan does not pretend to interview them. She later makes comments on what they are saying.

MysteryBelle · 20/06/2023 10:38

They’re not important enough for MM to interview them herself and meet them in person.

The stories coming out of the US, are from British reporters. Even during the chase in NY, the pap that was heckling them had a British accent - and he was not doing it for the first time.

The American publication that print bad things about the couple are often NYP /Fox and other Maga racist press who have never said a good thing about them.

I wonder if that is the next 'rumour' now. Meghan kicks cats.

Just like the 'rumour' that she signed with Dior, oh but look, she was rejected.

Meghan and Spotify part ways. Oh she was axed and faked her interviews.

So predictable.

A show to Harry, you go to court, we will get you where it hurts the most, via your wife. Cowards.

MysteryBelle · 20/06/2023 10:59

Harry said his todger was where it hurt the most. And then he thought about his mother while he rubbed the cream in. His words. In print and on audio.

Apparently his noggin is not in too good a shape either. He was an easy target to be preyed upon.

How anyone falls for their many cons and lies is one of the unplumbed mysteries of the world.

The Spotify guy said out loud what everybody knows.

Please, can we stop with the todger talk? I’ve only just been able to get hold of enough bleach to clear my memory of the remnants of what I read or heard (in his own voice).

The Dior rumours came from H&M’s side and Dior seem bemused by it all so whether it was an accident or to try to push them into agreeing a contract is unknown. Either way Spotify are out, Dior aren’t interested and it’s just Netflix left who have seemed fairly disillusioned with them.

Pretty sure nobody thinks Meghan kicks cats.

'We did occasionally have producers do interviews, though never the main ones, and we never edited her asking questions into interviews that producers conducted.'

It is actually very normal and usual for producers to conduct some of the interviews and research. Its their job. They did not ever pretend she had conducted interviews that she had not.

Jesus - have a word with yourself dear.

Try reading the thread "Nice" Cow or perhap another epithet would be better placed there.

That is a reference to "Someone ON THIS THREAD said they thought..." and I was referring to that person's post because it had been interpreted by another hair trigger poster to suggest it meant she actually kicked cats.

If you could be bothered to read the fucking thread you would see what the conversation referred to.

I SAID IN TERMS:

"What is being said is that she is the type of person to present a perfect and pleasant face to the world, and behind closed doors be an entirely different. IT DOESN'T MEAN SHE LITERALLY KICKS THE CAT or kicks Harry. IT'S MORE METAPHORICAL AS IS OBVIOUS."

So I don't need to have a word with myself except perhaps for bother to engage with rank stupidity.
