Unusual Clothing Fail - Camilla

I think Camilla is usually the best-dressed member of the Royal family, so I was surprised to see her wearing this today. Someone should have told her this was not a good idea.

Perhaps she's doing a spot of stilt walking later?

I don't think it suits her on the bottom half - something wrong with the length, cut and her shoes - although I like the top half and the colour, and I defend anyone's right to wear whatever they like unless indecent.

Is that Sally from Coronation Street next to Joanna? And Audrey from Coronation Street talking to Judi and Giles? And is that Jools Holland's dad on the right at the end? I can't help with the other chap.

And it's hardly 'daring' anything. What will happen if you state your opinion? Beheading, arrest. Try criticizing the royal families of some repressive nation's and see what happens.

I like it-seems relaxed and fun and it's a great colour.

People shared their own (very neutral, not sycophantic e.g. "I quite like it") opinions and you accused them of being sycophants.

And 'defending' her outfit as if she's committed a crime and not worn a jumpsuit.

I'm not a fan of the royal family, I think it's an outdated institution not fit for purpose, so I'm not a sycophant when it comes to her or her family.

But getting so worked up about people's reactions to someone's outfits is just silly.

It's more that you felt the need to start an entire thread on it. There is already a thread about what the royals wear, fair enough to comment on there; but pathetic to start a whole thread about camilla wearing a jumpsuit.

Hope she doesn’t need the loo in a hurry, that’s a lot of material to have around one’s ankles.

I’m a staunch republican who gives not a fig for the worthless royal family.

Nevertheless, almost everyone else in that photo looks a crumpled, badly put together mess. She looks flawless. I don’t generally like jumpsuits, either - but I salute bold choices and looking intentional. So it’s definitely not a clothing fail from my point of view. (Her existential purpose is a different matter.)

Are you ok OP? I actually tried to go through the thread to see who was calling you names and then I gave up. It just sounds like you’re getting very worked up over Camilla’s clothes and I can’t understand why that is.

Maybe that'll be more what you're looking for if you want a "style and beauty type thread". Not telling you where to post, obviously. Just a thought.
Not everyone there dislikes it either, just as a heads up, but some do.
