So it seems Eugiene is pronounced -You-zhu-knee or You-juh-knee

I may be imagining it but when she was a child I’m CERTAIN the press reported her throughout as “You-Janey”

Is it just me?

Princess Eugenie says that she goes by the pronunciation similar to 'Use your knee' but I think there is more than one way to pronounce it, depending on each person.

What you have written is You gee enn

Are you asking about the right person?

Listening to Sarah Ferguson that’s how I’ve always pronounced it. I remember her being born as her birthday was all the 8’s .

I think it was Beatrice who was born 8:18 on 8.8.88 and Eugenie is a couple of years younger. The 'all the 8s' thing was quite a headline back in the day.

You’re right it was. It was a huge thing. I was on a Spanish exchange trip and the dad was yabbering away in Spanish to me about it and I didn’t have a clue what he was in about. He went to buy a paper to show me the next day 😂.
