Megan pregnant with third?

Recent photos, she's walking with friends and she's so slim but definitely looks just like my sister did when she was about 6/7months pregnant - she's wearing black but I'm sure I can see a bump that isn't her usual figure!

Might just be the angle but it would explain why she didn't attend the Coronation and why Harry flew back so quickly. I appreciate he had Archie's birthday too but it would be another reason.

She's apple shaped. I don't think she's pregnant. She actually looks extremely thin to me in those pics.

Can we see a picture of you, @PatchworkElmer and anyone else attacking Meghan's body?

@bolgnees that wasn’t my comment mate. I haven’t body shamed anyone.

bolgnees · 17/05/2023 18:52

It takes about 4 seconds of research to find out what made the British Empire so ‘great’. They are the world’s whitest family in every sense. Not sure why you’d marry into them and moan about it

She married a man she loved who was not involved with the empire, unless you think every whites person is responsible for what their forefathers did

She quite literally left that family because she didn't like it there @YouWonJayne - you know, the reason half the people claim to hate her?

Thanks for the apology 🙄😂

or because of making PA's

What personal attacks have I made?

FlissMumsnet · 17/05/2023 20:26

Can we make a plea for civil debate - there are a number of reports about personal attacks/inflammatory posts and we may have to remove the whole thread if that continues.

To be honest, you'd be doing everyone a favour. The thread was nonsensical from the outset. Whether she is or isn't pregnant is no one's business except her own. The whole thread is just one long niggle fest.

Samcro · 17/05/2023 22:11

That is so true Polka (don’t faint)

LadyMuckingabout · 18/05/2023 09:01

Yes, this thread is daft, with posters falling over themselves to claim offence. Being an apple isn’t body shaming - it’s a recognised type. Most (continental) European women are apples - lean limbs but thicker waists. British women are more usually pears, with bigger bums and thighs - I am a fully- fledged pear 😫

Why is saying Meghan has an apple shape "attacking" her body?
She has. Kate does. I do.

I'd rather be a pear, mostly because it's supposed to be a bit healthier to tend to carry weight on your hips/thighs than on your stomach.

My daughters are both pears, but also very slim and I envy their waists.
I'm quite slim but am more straight up and down.
If I put on weight, it's markedly on my stomach and I've been asked if I'm pregnant if I put on weight.

I agree with Princessconsuelabananahammock9 (sorry for quoting a post that refers incorrectly to you, PatchworkElmer):
Meghan is an apple shape (as opposed to a pear) and is looking thin - I'd have used the phrase "very slim" myself, but tomato/tomato Smile) - and, imo, most definitely doesn't look pregnant.

Haha I've swooned!

LaMarschallin · 18/05/2023 09:19

X-posted, LadyMuckingabout - I'm a very slow typist.
As I said above, I envy a pear-shape - we're never happy with what we've got, I suppose Smile

LadyMuckingabout · 18/05/2023 09:36

True @LaMarschallin , pears aren’t very trendy at the moment - in fact haven’t been since pre-First World War… I’d have been a wow in Victorian times but ever since hems rose above the ankle the pear was stuffed. My worst garment ever is the shift dress!

bolgnees · 18/05/2023 09:40

@LaMarschallin she's not an apple. There are more than two body types than apple and pear.

The people on this thread know what they're doing by scrutinising Meghan's body type and calling her worryingly thin. Period.

polkadotdalmation · 18/05/2023 09:46

Oh for goodness sake. Stop it with the body analysis. She has a perfectly nice natural body and a beautiful face. Why the need to analyse what women look like? She doesn't look remotely pregnant.

Whaeanui · 18/05/2023 09:48

You said she looked drab the other day. Practice what you preach.

I accept that your opinion is that she isn't an apple.
I have a similar body type and have always thought of myself as an apple.

The post I quoted didn't call her "worryingly thin".
As I said, I'd have described her as "very slim" rather than "very thin".

LaMarschallin · 18/05/2023 09:56

Sorry: rather than "extremely thin".

Cowparslee · 18/05/2023 09:58

I don't think the golden dress flattered Meghan's shape

If this is aimed at me. I did not. I have never said anything unflattering about her appearance. Please don't post lies.

Iwasafool · 18/05/2023 12:03

I thought she looked great in the golden dress but I do think she really suits casual clothes like jeans and a white shirt but that obviously isnt suitable for all occasions.

tigger2022 · 18/05/2023 13:25

I didn’t like the gold dress, it was a flattering colour for her but the shape just didn’t work. She got the straps taken off which I think would have given it a better shape.
