I saw this earlier and I might be a big romantic but it really touched me ! 🥹
It was very a very heartfelt and unneeded comment and for me shows that he's still wild about her after all this time they have been together.

She had a much nicer wedding dress, although thinking about it that wasn't hard was it.

Sorry, but I thought Fergie's dress sense was horrendous. I admire her for coping with weight gain and loss, I think she's like me... only look at a bun and put on the lbs.... but dress sense... no.

If you watch TV shows and movies back from 80’s/90’s the ‘fat girl’ is never fat. I can barely watch Love Actually for describing Martine McCutcheon as the Chubby Girl poor Fergie.

Diana’s dress was absolutely hideous wasn’t it! Can’t believe it is considered legendary.

I was at a street party for the kids on her wedding day, someone had a big TV set on their front wall for everyone to see what we were missing. There was a universal gasp of horror from the mums who were watching. It was truly hideous and creased to hell.

Who wouldn’t think Kate is stunning! She’s areal beauty

My favourite by far was Meghan’s dress. Absolutely stunning, and so nice not to see a woman be stuffed like a sausage into a wedding dress or have a big pouffy affair.

I agree re Meghan’s dress. It was pure class and she looked beautiful. Her evening dress was fabulous too.

Hated Kate’s pointy boobed dress and the veil. I bet she massively regrets that terrible makeup now she’s finally discovered thick black eyeliner is not a great look. Her evening look with a cardigan of all things, was just prissy.

Diana’s dress was a shocker. But as a child, I can remember thinking she looked spectacular.

My favourite royal wedding dress is Camilla's - I thought it was beautiful and really suited her.

Next favourite is probably Eugenie's, I liked Meghan's too

In contrast to everyone else, I loved Diana and Fergie's dresses but then I got married in the 80's. I got married in a 'meringue' and loved it. Those dresses hid a multitude of sins. Kate and Meghan's dresses were OK

I had a Diana dress, and it was silk, and it wasn't creased! It was a beautiful dress actually, I still have it upstairs! I married at a similar time.

I loved Kate and Meghan’s wedding dresses. I remember as a child feeling disappointed at Diana’s.

I bet you looked lovely, Roussette! I have a different memory of Diana's dress, everyone I knew loved it, it was so lavish and baroque and an antidote to the dreadful 70s style that had just passed.
My favourite is Meghan's, so elegant and classic, and also Sarah Chatto's.

On her wedding day Sarah Ferguson looked lovely and prettier than Diana if anything. After she had the children she did put on a lot of weight and her weight went up and down a lot. She was still pretty .

Ah, it was of it's time - as were curly perms! I have a photo of me and some colleagues from 1983, and we all have pie crust tie blouses on, full skirts and either curly perms or the short Diana cut. I had the latter, with a heavy fringe that I could glance up under, just like she...

It's funny how things date, isn't it? My friend was married in 2004, when everyone began to wear strapless wedding dresses. Her daughter was horrified at the pictures, saying how old fashioned it looked!

I remember being really disappointed by Diana’s dress and really surprised by how much better than hers Sarah Ferguson’s looked. I think it flattered her figure whereas Diana looked swamped. It also had beautiful embroidery on it. Bees I think 🤔

I'm not into white weddings, even as a little girl I never wanted to dress up as a bride in the net curtains which seemed popular with other girls. I've been married twice but my outfits were very much me and not white and not full length. Having said that I thought Sarah Ferguson was the personification of a radiant bride, she was happy, her dress fitted, it didn't need ironing.

I think Sarah looked better at her wedding than she normally did, I don't think Diana looked anywhere near as attractive as she normally did. Sometimes things just click and sometimes they don't.

Yes I agree. Diana's hair looked very flat and boring too. Although I remember her tiara just glistening with all the diamonds a lot

That Spencer tiara 😍! It looked like it was on fire! Her hair was flat, and the only time really that it didn't look good.
