Let’s do our own poll - who wants to see m and h at the coronation - yes or no.

I am a no 👎🏻

Don’t give a toss. Don’t even know when the coronation is.

Isn't a little inconvenient not to know when public holidays are?

LlynTegid · 09/04/2023 14:34

I am a yes for the Duke of Sussex, ambivalent about the Duchess. Son should be there for father's event.

ImSweetEnoughDarlin · 09/04/2023 14:59

No

Sudeko · 09/04/2023 15:11

They are not relevant to the present and future of the family ad they have got less and less relevant as the years go on. They had a good attempt at showing how important they really were but they failed. It makes no difference if they attend or not.

blackberriesaretheonlyfruit · 09/04/2023 15:24

Doesn't matter what they do does it? They'll be in the wrong anyway in some peoples eyes. The press probably have the two variations of it ready to roll.

Spot on.

Narrative A: Hazza and That Woman couldn’t even be arsed to come and celebrate Charlie’s big day.

Narrative B: Hazza and That Woman have the cheek to turn up and make it all about them on Charlie’s big day.

Daily Mail probably wrote the versions months ago!

@blackberriesaretheonlyfruit yes, they’re not popular with the press - interesting to see the results on here - I thought there would be more yes answers

Great poll result.

I hope that if H and M don't go, the 70% who voted NO will not flood this board with posts saying how dare they not show their faces!

Honestly, they are damned if they do and damned if they don't.

So they should do whatever the hell they want.

I think you have called it. The boards WILL be flooded by posters outraged that they are showing such a disdain etc. 🙄

@nonheme inviting someone and wanting them there are not always the same thing

YES and then I can join the mere 15% of the population (YouGov poll) who are really interested in it rather than the 85% who range from mildly interested to very antagonistic. The death throes have begun.

Choccyeggs20 · 09/04/2023 21:31

Yes - Charles is to blame for Harry’s unhappiness. He should try to fix his mistakes.

Harry doesn’t

OP posts:
LolaSmiles · 09/04/2023 21:33

I don't mind either way.

Harry's the King's son and should probably be there as his child, but then I'd imagine it'd be rather awkward behind the scenes if lots of family and friends won't want to talk more than superficial small talk in case they're the contents of another book or interview.

Whatever they do the press will hound them and the people with extreme loyalty to either side will draw their own stories.

Cokefans · 09/04/2023 21:33

I’m watching tempting fortune - not replying anymore now 😃

And yet Harold seemed to be fine with him until he was refused picking and choosing the glam gigs followed up by the Bank of Dad slamming its doors shut.

I thought Harry's book was reasonably affectionate towards Charles. Not a perfect father but who is?

tatalan · 10/04/2023 05:59

We all know what will happen if they show up 😂

I saw Myers on some Australian TV show going on about the 'glitz and glamour', it took all of one minute for the hosts to ask about who they truly cared about, you guessed it H&M.

MauveCow · 10/04/2023 08:14

Yes, if they can behave and stfu about it.

Inkpotlover · 10/04/2023 08:16

No. The media will get their knickers in such a twist if they turn up the whole day will be about them.

MauveCow · 10/04/2023 08:18

whirlyhead · 09/04/2023 13:50

Don’t give a toss. Don’t even know when the coronation is.

Then I hope you aren't planning to do anything on the day that'll be scuppered by the fact that everywhere is closed...

Trendingtopic · 10/04/2023 08:18

After all their attacks on the royal family for money. I think it would be very wrong for them to attend.
