I really really like her!! She's so respectful, humble, funny, chill and genuinely lovely! No drama, no backstabbing, no dissing the royals or even Harry. What a thoroughly nice person!

If Harry had stuck with her and she had stuck with him, they would likely have been a fantastic duo and I fully expect Harry would have turned out far more normal, down to Earth and waaaaaaay less wokey/therapy-speak/narcissistic & self absorbed etc.. (though might not have had such a positive impact on Sasha!)

Sasha, u r awesome!

Indeed. Especially as the ONS is a worthy, deserving blonde who apparently should have been married to Harry, instead of the wife he actually married, who is NOT a worthy blonde.

Yep 👏

yep. if you read the op of this very thread.

704703hey · 16/02/2023 03:37

It was just a drunken teenage fumble. Harry was rude in writing about it without forewarning or consent, so she responded in the press. There is not a chance Sasha and Harry would have become a couple!

She seems nice enough and glad she's happy. I think OP may have been a windup...

It's not all about looks though is it. Meghan is stunning. But surely there's more value to people than what they look like. Looks are only a small part of the whole thing. It's personality and behaviour that's the big thing. The public are clearly split on that one when it comes to Meghan. Clearly Harry likes her though. I don't really get why the two of them get so much air time tbh.

Oh dear not quite the moment you thought you had @karamazing and @jeffgoldblum was very quickly excited and then disappointed.

I'm just wondering if you will now get the post deleted. . 😊

Samcro · 19/02/2023 18:28

I reported it. Gosh how low will some posters go

jeffgoldblum · 19/02/2023 18:30

Wouldn't say I was excited! , wouldn't say I was disappointed, in fact I didn't actually say anything at all!

AliceOlive · 19/02/2023 18:32

A mistake, it happens. We are all on pretty high alert here.

Can I say secretly... I've tried spray can cheese and I quite liked it on a cracker!

Wow! Since when was it ok to be classist? It seems on Mumsnet one can be openly classist but not racist. Obviously neither are at all ok, but just wondering why one is acceptable still in 2023

If the monarchy truly want to modernise what the flip is wrong with marrying a lovely lady with true honour, class, humbleness and humility, that just doesn't have as much money? Crazy world.

Classist?!

What do you think the United KINGDOM is? A republic where everyone is equal, the authority of parliament comes from the people, and the head of state is elected? Or is it a constitutional monarchy with a hereditary monarch sitting atop the entire edifice? One apparently inhabited by a population who were weaned on far too many Disney movies and read far too little of their own history.

MrsMaxDeWinter · 19/02/2023 19:17

@karamazing and @jeffg

Really sorry that your "gotcha" moment deflated without taking off. I have never posted about dyeing my hair blond. My hair is 4C natural and has never been any colour other than black.

Better luck next time!

karamazing · 19/02/2023 19:20

😂Your first moment of triumph - enjoy!

MrsMaxDeWinter · 19/02/2023 19:36

I enjoy enough "moments of triumph" in my everyday life to not need to look for them online. I am sorry things did not go your way as this seems to mean a lot to you.

I would not have mixed you up if you had a distinct writing style.
Are you trying to recreate Kate, Meghan and 'the flowers'.

Ridiculous. I was reading posts about blond hair. I definitely wasn't looking for your posts. Why doesn't it surprise me that you would think it?

AliceOlive · 19/02/2023 20:09

In fairness, MrsMax, none of us know one another and we do know people lie about backgrounds here and online. I think it wasn’t really personal, just an “aha” moment that turned out to be mistaken identity. I’ve seen that other poster before too and others from the same book and done a double take.

The reason I double checked? I have read enough of your posts and we’ve had only positive interactions even though I often disagree with you. I just knew it couldn’t be you.

MrsMaxDeWinter · 19/02/2023 20:15

No worries @AliceOlive

Mistakes do happen, but a normal response would be for the poster to simply say sorry, it was a mistake.

Instead, she has chosen to be sarcastic, insulting and aggressive while changing names within minutes over something that, in the scheme of things, is a non-issue.

karamazing · 19/02/2023 20:21

You are very thin-skinned - are you Meghan?
Sorry, not sorry.
