Did anyone not tell her that she shouldn't dress like she was going to a party? In a church, no sleeves, deep v neck, messy hair. Why?! Did she even know the significance of the event- how deeply important Stephen's death was to many of us in England?

Well I can’t stand Meghan now for the things she’s said and done since leaving the Royal Family but there's nothing wrong with what she was wearing there.

Apart from she was probably freezing inside the church and Harry should have warned her about that.

I think what is and isn't appropriate is dependent on what the other people are wearing. They are all very conservatively dressed with no bare shoulders/arms and low necklines.

So yes she is dressed inappropriately for that occasion

Sorry? I thought you were one of the people to whom this young man’s tragic death was important? I wondered why, when that’s the case, you were so easily distracted from your own feelings of grief and sadness. Are you now saying that it was not important to you? It’s all just a popcorn chugging event to you?

I have never seen pictures of the late Queen, the Queen consort, Princess Anne nor the current Princess of Wales - nor the past one come to that - where any of their outfits could be considered questionable for the event they were attending. I cannot say the same for the Duchess of Sussex. And the very fact that some people here are questioning the outfit for this particular occasion would indicate that she got it wrong here too. That's quite an expression on Theresa Mays face, I'm guessing she thinks the same.

Kate has worn questionable outfits so often that the Queen intervened.

Went to a funeral recently. Admittedly no-one as significant as SL (it was a relative). People wore all colours under the sun in chapel. I don't think black and covered shoulders is a thing now, or 5 years ago tbf. Also, this was 5 years ago.

Did you miss the picture of the then Duchess of Cambridge in Australia where her skirt blew up in the wind. She had allegedly ignored advice to put weights in her hems to avoid this faux pas.
